Very friendly bar/ catering staff. Quality course which has been well maintained despite the weather, with challenging holes, carefully placed bunkers and a high quality par 3 over the water. Greens are in excellent condition. Fair prices in the clubhouse afterwards. Golf course is currently in excellent nick. Pro shop has lot's to buy - take credit card😎. Regular open day events and fantastic value Great course, booked through golf now for a 4 ball and we weren't disappointed. This place is a little gem, diamonds cut fairways, deep filled bunkers, course in great condition and lovely to play. Everyone we met around the clubhouse were friendly and polite, we'll definitely be returning. We played in July in the seniors open. I have played it before but it just gets better and better. It was in amazingly green condition. The greens are its defence, they are very subtle and hard to read, while being some of the best greens you will play on. We will be back. Onto the course greens were superb really fast and course could not be faulted,plenty of sand in bunkers and fairways cut short making the ball run a mile credit to green staff. The course is a gem one of the best in Yorkshire everything well cared for. Short cut fairways, bunkers with deep sand, and the greens hard and perfect but making them hard to read a true test of putting skills. Our first time playing here but will be back again.
