Lovely evening spent here last month. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff were friendly. It’s also dog friendly and there’s water and treats available! There’s an extensive menu on offer. We weren’t hungry, so opted for chips and dessert. All were delicious! Looking forward to returning for a meal in the future! My family and I enjoyed a decent tea here with 40% off. I chose the Chicken, Ham Hock and Leek Pie, which came with a reasonable bit of veg. Standard pub fare, very good value. Haven't posted in a while and haven't been to Altisidora in my life despite having passed it a thousand times. Been three times in a week. It's a great pub, in a lovely village, that serves really very, very good food. I have to admit, we went as a group of six and we all had something different and we were all really, really impressed at the standard! Have to really recommend the chicken and ham hock pie, the steak and malbec pie, fish and chips and the schnitzel. My son had the Thai red curry, also stunning (but could do with a larger position next time please). Also quite impressive when everything on the plate is excellent - chunky chips are terrific and even the vegetables side was fresh and crisp and delicious. Great weeknight offers on food. Plenty of parking. Very lovely and helpful staff, thanks! Makes a big difference. Deserves five stars all the way, drinks prices a little heavy but totally worth it. Oh, and I haven't tried them (yet) but the desserts look superb too! Utmost recommended. Prompt, friendly service in a clearly well run pub. Good was better than expected. I had whitebait, the Best ever beef pie and the lemon tart. Each course surpassed my expectations. Washed down with a couple of glasses of Shiraz. A very decent evening. Absolutely amazing experience. Passing through back to the Midlands and experienced means that were second to none. Absolutely amazing Sunday dinner. They were fully booked. We were just passing on the off chance but they moved tables around and got us in. So pleased they did. Shame we aren't closer as would definitely become a regular visit. Highly recommend We visited for my daughters birthday meal, and we were a party of 10, including 2 little ones. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When we spoke of allergies nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely amazing. The portions extremely good and tasty. I cannot fault anything about our visit.
