The road to hotel is like hill climb in tarmac. Owner is very friendly. Food and drinks was good. View from top is supper. Clean rooms , but rooms need little renovation. Beautifull views and nice place to sit down and relax. The view was amazing, one of the best I have ever seen. The staff was very warm and did everything to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Also you can bring your own food and eat it in some camping place near to the building. You have some children's playground Great Mountain hut, clean, friendly staff. Weather is many days windy. There is also a playground next to it. Planinski dom na Kalu is located at an altitude of 946 m and belongs to the Dolenjska, Zasavska and Posavje hills. The cottage can be achieved after 30 minutes of walking. The cottage offers 67 beds in rooms and 10 shared beds. The natural environment was amazing. Our room was fine. The food was homemade with love and the staff/owners sooo good. All the best! Prijetno je posedeti na njihovi terasi. Priporočam borovničev zavitek in štruklje. Skratka 0,0000000/10. Psi niso zaželjeni. Tako v koči kot na terasi. PLANINSKA KOČA PSOM NEPRIJAZNA. Govorimo o psu majhne rasti (2kg). Pa lahko je majhen pes, velik nema veze , tisti ki imamo ljubljenčka ga vedno na pohod, sprehod vzamemo s sabo. Tudi na poti proti Koči, sem srečala ogromno pohodnikov v spremstvu njihovega pasjega prijatelja. Lastnik Doma izjemno neprijazen. Če bi bila koča v notranjosti čista bi še razumela zakaj, ker pa temu ni tako , žal ne morem razumeti. Zunaj je bilo sigurno -5 stopinj. Z družino smo se hoteli pogreti, naročiti čaj, na kar nam je (verjetno lastnik) rekel, da naj vzamemo čaj in ga spijemo zunaj na snegu, kajti psi tukaj niso dobrodošli. Naj še povem, da je bil pes od prihoda v kočo v mojem naročju. Kaj takšnega v tako imenovanem Planinskem domu, še nisem doživela, pa sem v svojem življenju obiskala že ogromno planinskih koč, tako v Sloveniji kot tujini. Kdorkoli me vpraša za priporočilo planinske koče v bližini zasavja, je moj odgovor VEDNO PLANISKI DOM MRZLICA. Vredno vsakega obiska. Čisto nasprotje planinskemu domu na Kalu🤢 Katastrofa od upravljalca koče. Bolj nesramnega človeka, že dolgo nismo srečali!!! Nas ne vidijo več na tej koči. Je Mrzlica veliko boljša!!!
