English speaking was very easy for tourist as we are. Fairway condition was super even after rain. Course should be sand base. Water draining was fantastic. Room was clean and modern. Definitely recommend for a stay even if you're not just their to play golf but if you don't want to be in the busy City center Love it. Beautiful architecture welcome golfers of all experience levels. Restaurant & ProShop are excellent with a view of the course. The course itself is fun to play, just a little noisy in parts near the highway. As a beginner I also enjoy the practice course, excellent to sharpen your skills. Played the links course last week some holes layout really good and condition of fairways and course in general in good condition, it's not a long course but some beautiful par 3s looking forward to playing the Championship course tomorrow. Clubhouse has balcony to have a beer and something to eat and shower facilities first class. I had the Kolner Burger and was really well presented, nice atmosphere on the balcony with alot of the members enjoying the atmosphere Just at the outskirt of the city; with easy access by UBER (I am a sailor of river ship, so do not have a car); and getting an UBER is no headache coming back to the pier. Played the Links 9 holes; and favorite will be hole7, where a hidden from view lake is a ball magnet. I missed the lake, by luck and skills (LOL)… but it is a layout. Fairways are narrow on this course. Sniper precisions is needed to place ur ball in a goooooood position for next shot. the terrain have many many undulation, so for me 1st time playing here, it was always a Shoot-hope on every stroke. But it is very nice. Green look faster then it actually is; and a pitch shot into the green cannot really stop, hence giving the miss perception that green speed is at least 11.5ft… but in reality, it is around 7.5-8ft... Overall very happy to played here; hope to see better green in future. Frank, the guy who is both manager and caddy master and starter master is a guy. He made me feel like a member, even though I am just a normal visitor. Thank you Frank for your hospitality Nice place 😁 but the weather 😔 It is a very nice-looking golf club but the noise from the Highway near by destroys the whole experience of a nice day out golfing. This portion of the highway has no speed limit; therefore, the noise levels are unusually loud for a highway. Our experience has also been that the staff is unorganized and on top of it also very unfriendly. We found ourselves with a tee time reservation at 18:30, standing in front of the info desk that was closed and with no way to make our green fee payment. So, we assured with one of the staff members from the kitchen that we can pay for it tomorrow, so I left all my contact details there. When I called the next day to make things right, I was told on the phone that nobody walks into a store, takes a piece of meat and pays for it later and that I had to make the payment right away. This is not an exaggeration, this is word for word what I was told. I guess, I should be thankful for this experience. Coincidently, we were actually there to try the club out and see if the membership fee was worth it. This is a place if you love golf! You can also eat here and there are many tournaments you can choose. I love to visit this place and especially the Bistro, it's amazing!
