I have to be honest, I was very disappointed. We arrived shortly after 1pm when the app was showing 2 out of the six spaces free. So we swiped in and parked up for just over an hour, after which we had to leave for a veterinary appointment on the other side of the city. We left for our appointment at 3pm and were back within an hour of leaving, only to find that our 'session' had been ended and there was no longer any space available! So whilst we spent just over an hour at the aire we weren't able to complete our stay, so we'll end up being charged €6 for parking for just over an hour when it was our intention to stay the night. The aire looked OK. A bit tight on space and a city the size of Evreux could certainly do with another dozen or so spaces. Disappointed. The app should give you a minimum stay, unless there's an option where you 'check out' and 'leave' without the intention to return. This should easy to do on the app. Room for improvement. Not the best kept of the Camping-Car-Parks. There were bins that were overflowing with plastic bottles, and the hedging and other fauna was quite overgrown. However, the location is good and makes a very pleasant area to go for an evening walk. But, as I have seen so often, potential customers having to drive away as they were unable to gain access having spent maybe 20 minutes at the entry terminal. This happened just 20 minutes after we arrived. This one is brilliant for position. Not many pitches so it’s worth getting a Camping Car Park “Pack Privilège” on your CCP account so that you can book ahead. A very handy stop off on the way back up. Very pleasant with water, waste facilities. Fairly noisy with traffic and people on the footpath but quiet overnight. Electric only 6amps so have to select devices wisely. Ran water and fridge on gas. Our sat nav found it, no problem. In car park area of Congres. Lovely place to stop. Only here for one but had all you need. Water, toilet empty, electric. Nice surroundings. Road can be a bit noisy, but we slept well. It was a Sunday into Monday. Cora supermarket very close by. Easy flat walk into town. Lovely spot, close to town centre. Exit barrier temperamental. Ideal little stop over,close to supermarket and shops Very nice stop as normal all facilities worked well and easy walk to the city value for money Small but good space, surrounded by beautiful flowering cherry trees! Close to town and busy road but quiet overnight. Very difficult to get in as I’d forgotten my card and had to phone, operator very confused about name of town and took a long time to raise the barrier. 🥹 We stayed here on Saturday 9th July. A small, clean, aire with the usual facilities, including electricity. The problem is the location - the noise from sirens, motorbikes and general traffic was dreadful. On top of that, we were disturbed through much of the by very loud people, to the point where my wife had her finger next to the alarm button all night. Consequently we had no sleep. Our neighbour (French) said he tried calling the Police, but they were not interested. Altogether, a very disappointing experience, and a place I cannot recommend. A real shame as Evreux is a lovely place.
