Plenty of seating was available inside .. outside there was no available seating.. the food was ok was a little slow but overall was an ok experience.. would mainly go here for the location. Very nice location, directly at the harbour of Heraklion. Great coffee, delicious and varied breakfast in a ambience. And of course the usual Greek friendliness. Nice place to chill and watch the harbour. Serves draft beer and wine. Chicken wings were amazing. Good service. Board games avail too Visited in March 2024 Stopped by headed to the Marina and had a great lunch! The place was sparkly clean, food was hot, fast, and delicious and the staff were very friendly! Bravo!!! This cafe is situated at probably the best location in Heraklion with of the Venetian harbor and the Koule fortress. These last years there have been major improvement is all aspects, renovation, new stuff and new menu! I have had dinner there twice lately and have enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it for a quick bite, lunch with friends or just for coffee. I liked the food, nice and the was very good. Ate lunch here our first day in Crete. The salad was superb and huge and reasonably priced. Couldn't seat out as all the seats under the shade were taken and we didn't want to sit in direct sun. We sat in a little glass annex (together with a table of obviously local Greek men). The waitress was good and food came promptly. Nice food and coffee, the is beautiful. Amazing escape in front the fort.Syaf professional and kind.I recommended.a visit. Prime location, at the marina , excellent and good prices. Everything you would want in a cafe ! When the sun is out sit on the terrace opposite the Koules (castle) amongst the sailing boats in the old Venetian port and take in a drink and maybe some lunch or snacks. The sharing platters are tasty, especially with a beer. It's a pretty and relaxing place to while away a few hours soaking up the sun. A local institution. If you're in town stop a while. The prices are not very high and the food is very tasty. The only downside, which is not related to the place itself, is the large number of people, it was a bit noisy. They said sit anywhere. There wasn't much space in the shade as the sun was very intense. We had no choice but to pick a table that was not cleaned. We waited for them to come and clean and to serve us. We waited 15 minutes. They noticed us but did nothing. We ended up having to leave due to the and being ignored.
