As a small-scale operation that was off the beaten track, it had a beauty and intimacy that you don't get from a large operation doing coach tours. We had a wonderful visit to Casa Sola with a tasting. Andrea was a great host with explanations of the making process and stories about local folklore. It was a very entertaining visit and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We tasted different wines with some food to accompany. Andrea was very knowledgeable and we had a great time. Extremely informative, taking us right from the grapes in the vineyard, all the way through the wine-making process, to the finished product. Then we were taught how to taste and what to look for in a good wine. We also got to try their olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I can thoroughly recommend this to everybody!
