Nice Outstanding wedding venue in the middle of Tuscany. Stunning and well maintained. Has been on my list to visit for years. However the €10 entrance per person is steep and I don’t feel worth it. You can take your time waking around and pass 30 minutes. Too bad there isn’t a guided tour or any kind of informational plaques. We went on this place when it was afternoon and raining time. We ddnt do appointment coz I was hoping if possible to get in. Normally it's by appointment and only in the morning. We are lucky enough she let us in but of course We paid 10euro per head. We are just the two of us roaming in this area. It was like a fairly tale and kind of f romantic feeling when getting inside. I think it will be more nicer when sun is present but it's ok we enjoyed it. It is actually a very nice place to explore for how an hours, I think. The of Celsa, is in the woods of Montagnola Senese, about 11 km from Siena and 50 km from Florence: built at the beginning of 1200, it was then enlarged and embellished in 1500 for the Celsi family, by Baldassare Peruzzi who also designed the beautiful chapel. The complex consists of the Castle, which cannot be visited, the Limonaia used as a farmhouse, the Italian garden and the park. The is simpatica stunning! Beautiful with beautiful gardens. Reviewing this as a wedding venue. Maria was so amazing and accommodating to work with. The is outstanding without any decor even needed. The rooms to get ready in are dreamy and perfect for photos. There are so many areas of the grounds for different parts of your events. Highly recommend visiting / booking for your event! The facility is closed to visitors. Apparently, you have to make an appointment for sightseeing. Gorgeous in the middle of the countryside. Kind of hidden, but it's worth the visit to the park. You need to book the visit in advance! Stunning place. Perfect for a special occasion! The place is opened twice a week... So you'd think they'll update their website when the place is closed on those days.... I guess it's more convenient for them to host private events there.. I get it.. But I left a beautiful place only to be stopped at the gate cos it was closed for an event ... And it's so far in the woods that makes such a wasted trip even harder to swallow . From the pictures the place looks nice.. But from outside the gates Well.. You can't tell. We were absolutely thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture a wedding at Castello di Celsa. Everything was a dream - from the itself, to the service and amenities, to the actual wedding day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend using Castello di Celsa as the backdrop for your Tuscan Wedding! Don't trust the opening times from the web site. We arrived on a Saturday at 12:00 and the gates were closed. According to the web site the opening times for Saturday are from 9:00 to 13:00.
