It's impressive from the outside, but particularly beautiful on the inside. We had a good look round the building and also enjoyed some of the temporary exhibitions on show. It's tranquil and beautiful, especially if you catch some sunlight entering through the windows. A really lovely old building. The façade is certainly imposing, but when you step inside, it's cool and calm. Look out for the frescos when you go upstairs!! This building is large and has several uses for example; different rooms are transformed into art galleries during different weeks of the year ranging from modern contemporary to classical art. There is also a medium sized library which serves as the town library and is free for everyone to use- although, if you want to take a book out, you have to sign up for free. As well as this, there is a separate children's and young adults library which is stocked with books in Spanish and some in English! Beautiful and inspiring, it really remembers me to the Escorial. It must be visit both in the morning and in the evening, although it's a pity that the exterior courtyard is closed and that there are a lot of part which can't have been fully restored.
