Don't go there! Absolutely not interesting. 8€ for entrance, 2 Pers. It's just one room. You see it at the Fotos. A tourist trap and absolutely not worth to see! Great place, and very unique. I had the chance to talk to a view of the people that are restoring it to it's best. It's the only Therme Arab Bath in the whole island of Sicili, Italy, so come and see this place, if you like historic buildings. The baths themselves are quite impressive with water still flowing through them to bring it to life and has a lot of potential for being a great attraction but it seems the investment in this is poorly managed, there's plenty of office staff who handed out confusingly translated information sheets but the actual baths are not protected or maintained. The photo art gallery was pleasant but without information or a guide it was hard to spend more than 20 minutes here. We took a picnic and sat in the benches located only in the sun which also hurried our visit. There's a large carpark but it is treacherous to enter due to the state of surface on the entrance. A little hidden gem. Impressive given the history. Very nicely maintained. Very friendly staff, I felt really welcome. I don't speak Italian, but they went out of their way to help me. That alone makes me want to go back again. My visit to the Arab Baths was a bit challenging, as the place is named in Italian on Google Maps. However, once I found it, I was delighted by the beauty of the site. The Arabic Kufi script on the walls added to the authentic feel of the place. Despite being a bit tricky to locate, the Arab Baths are definitely worth a visit for anyone interested in history and culture. Magnificent! Also visit the remains of the nearby Norman Castle. A place of memory for the architectural richness and for the stories that you can hear from the old folks that hang around there. Free entrance, parking, leaflets and friendly welcome A beautiful place but a challenge. The office was manned by three men with only one padlocked entrance open and no lights on. I put the lights on and viewed display. I then entered the one gate and managed to shuffle around and see it all. Well worth visiting, if the staff can be bothered to open it all up.
