The museum it's in German, the man at the desk spoke English to us without saying that NOTHING IS EXPLAINED in English. So actually it's just ba waste of money and time looking at something that you cannot understand. At least we used the toilet. Nice old castle. Good for an afternoon walk. The museum itself is very small and full of paper documents in several rooms. In case you want to see the prison, it's not included in the museum and I have the feeling that the prison itself is not open to public. But the outside view is great, and very good for a hike. A beautiful place with good view of the city. It sports a museum now which has 4 € entry price and this is highest point in Asperg. Good place to walk on a morning. There are a lot of parking spaces. You can walk all around the place. They made a path around the buildings. You need to watch out the small children because on the cliff side is only a handrail. The children can easily slip through. In rest a beautifull place with a very nice view of the villages around it. Give it a try. Lovely Place and beautiful view all around the top. Valuable time to spend going through the Museum and indulging yourself with a cup of coffee or tea and not too forget mouth watering traditional Swabian recipe cakes. :-) Visit.
