Great Therme when not crowded. The Thermalbad / Sauna is a multi-swimming pool/sauna complex where you pay by the time spent (1,10 € for 10 minutes, up to 19,80 € for 3 hours--at least in March, 2024). Lockers, light therapy and aroma therapy rooms, pools of varying temperature from icy cold to almost scalding hot, and saunas also of varying temperatures. You can stay inside during inclement weather or wander outside to chairs to enjoy the sun or the sunset. Evidently, many folks come to the next-door H-Hotel just to spend the weekend utilizing the Thermalbad. This is a unique and truly wonderful experience and reason enough to put Aalen on your list of German cities to visit. Really love it here. The pools are great and always clean. The only downer is the showers and hair dryers. Last time the hair-dryers, which are terrible anyway were mostly out of order. I'd suggest you take your own as there are plugs. This is one of the crown jewels of Aalen and is an absolute must visit if you are in or near Aalen. It sits on top a sulphur spring which has healing qualities in its waters. Since 2014 it has been recognized by the state government as a healing thermal bad. The value for money is excellent. The view of Aalen from these thermal baths is breathtaking. The complex also has Saunas of various types. Only thing is that small kids are not allowed. Absolutely loved it here, 3 hours is just perfect to spend here and the outside bath and bubble bath are especially great. The view outside is spectacular too! This establishment offers a genuinely splendid hot bath experience, making it a frequented oasis for both personal relaxation and social gatherings with friends. Regrettably, the restaurant's limited operating hours due to staffing constraints are a disappointment, as it detracts from the overall experience. Nevertheless, despite this drawback, the venue remains a prominent and esteemed destination within the region. Roman style and marble constructions of this thermal bath are nice to look at and reminds of ancient times. Pools are supplied with two healing springs which are supposed to be beneficial for muscles and joints. In evening times, you can get reduced price for the last 1,5 hours. We enjoyed staying until closing time, unfortunately we couldn't take a shower then, as they are really less in number and high in demand. Restaurant is low staffed but nice food available. It was full, dirty and many unfriendly people. Sauna was impossible. All of this for a very expensive price.... terrible experience Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
