The is quite a drive from the civilized world. You have to drive on a very long, narrow road to get there. The itself is nice, but without any restaurants or whatsoever, there's only an old caravan which sells cold drinks. Please be aware: if you want to park, then check if there is still concrete below the otherwise you will get stuck in the loose sand... Nice drive to get to the the via a narrow scenic road. Plenty of space (we went in December). Great walk alongside the with the kids. Will definitely come back. Enjoyable wild(ish) beach, with guards and ample free parking. Worth the journey. Worth noting - be mindful if taking a stroll away from the life-guard station (main) area - further you venture from the and lifeguards, less people wear. A great beach, that is long with soft and dunes that shelter the salt flats behind them. The water is clean, clear and warm in late May. The car park has lots of space, but in places the can be soft so take care when parking. Access via the road from Salin de Giraud, and see flamingos in the salt flats. No facilities, so bring plenty of food and water. Nice beach, warm clean water, no amenities, take plenty of water. Helping Hands 😊 A big THANK YOU to the guys who helped SO FAST to get my Beetle Cabrio out of the on Plage de Piemanson. You have been my heros yesterday 🤗 A good advice to those who want to get to the end of the area at the beach: There is a reason why there are just SUVs and Pickups are 😉 Wonderful clean sandy beach. dunes, miles of pretty empty that my boys thoroughly enjoyed. The car ride out there took us through salt beds and a protected nature reserve where we were able to see lots of flamingos. Would have loved to stay here longer. Very long open with clean nice which allows dogs, can be alot of people but it's so long it makes no diffrence. There is for free and portable toilets and a life guard station but nothing else.
