Beautiful reception venue Very friendly staff Services were very good All the food was very nice Decor was beautiful Praying room for men and women separated Wudu placed separated from toilet The toilet was and clean with water facilities inside, but some door locks were broken Kindly fix all the broken door locks Recommended for reception food, location, not enough parking, watch out for match day. Very expensive place Was actually surprised at how good this was. We put up 2 mobile bars for a diwali festival. Very and amazing management team. For all your mobile bar needs including weddings, festivals birthdays etc. Tik tok @popupbars Insta @poppupbars What a lovely venue. Plenty of parking really up market funtion hall. Great staff, excllent service. My nephew had his walima here. The itself is quite pretty with a lovely fresh looking foyer and grand-ish hall. There's a area at the top of the stairs where the bridal suite is that guests can take pictures. (Idk if thats the purpose of it, but thats what we used it for 😅) The food on the other hand is up for huge discussion. On the menu there was; •Manchurian noodle soup- the noodles were sooo crisp, could be described as hard and crunchy, definitely undercooked noodles. I like texture, so i didnt mind the crunchiness but it def shouldn't have been crispy/hard/crunchy. A novel dining experience. •Masala Fish, Fried Chicken and Samosa Chaat. Very standard starters, so not really faulting them. The coating on both the fish and chicken tasted the same. The samosa chaat was an 8. •Mains included Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken and Mixed Veg Curry with chapattis. Where can i start... the butter chicken was watery, instead of buttery and creamy, almost like it had been pulled out of the freezer and defrosted? The leftovers (because we are gujji 😅 we took it home) the following day had gone off. My sister had to return 2 whole buckets of leftover curry because the soup looked really strange. The biryani was very average, no flavour, not much meat. The mixed veg was ok, just ok, again, not much flavour. The chapattis were the only decent part of the menu. •Desserts was carrot halwa and ice-cream. Cheap ice cream, and just avergae carrot halwa. (If you're having a here, avoid carrot halwa and opt for gulab jamuns or something) All the main dishes lacked flavour, so chasing a flavor if that makes sense? I'm a huge foodie, and honestly, i just could not be bothered consuming cals that brought me no joy whatsoever. The food was disappointing and this is unanimously agreed upon by majority that were present (not that i walked around asking but you get the picture😄) My bro ordered pizza for his kid and everyone was waiting with their plate for a slice, so you can imagine. #dead #sofunny Parking was great, it was spaced out well. Some people who parked in the overflow shared car park had a few issues. However there was sufficient lighting on exiting the which made it easier. As soon as you walk in, the high ceiling with modern lighting, the waiting area allows you to have a drink and some finger food. There was good seating and space for families to move around take photos and meet and greet each other. There was an external area for taking photos however I didn't check it out. As soon as you walk in to the main it is a spacious room, high ceiling, the mezzanine floor makes the ideal for weddings and give it that much more. Compare or host was good in managing the from start to finish. Felt a little deflated for being asked not to take photos as you wait eagerly for the bride and grooms entrance. However, I understand this allowed everyone to enjoy the moment rather than have lots of cameras taking photos and videos from all angles. Food was lovely, the waiters were equally attentive and food was brought out continuously. Kebabs were a little spicy but on a whole food was 9/10. Biryani was perfect. Not many venues get biryani right but biryani was on point 👌👌👌 The toilets were clean but had not been replenished with paper towards the end of the event. There should be a member of ensuring floors are kept dry and toilet paper is replaced when necessary. The best part was when the host asked aunties to come off the stage as there were too many ppl on the stage. Secretly made me happy... But in future maybe get the younger ppl to come off rather than the older ladies. Many thanks for a beautiful and event. From the dulha's maami xxx Decent hall. Just very small prayer room. One of the best set-up made in this GRAND BLACKBURN Food was superb no words and fresh,, we tasted before the day and selected the menu.... Venue organiser and the very welcomed There's a Prayer room too... Reception entrance very beautiful..... Toilets and wash balls very tidy... Kitchen area very clean no smells combination comes to the areas Table service very good There's a separate person in charge to watch them.. But their music combination and mic annunciation was very poor the guy was very rude I can't understand why is he like that... rest is wonderful... Went to here. Was really shocked. Rude absolutely a joke. Small portions and rushed to eat. Starter were really small and one little tray between 10 people. Rushed the starters. One little rice tray between 10 people for mains had ignoring us evertime we needed a refill. I'm not making this up I was shocked. And the water and milk mixed tea given at the end.. shocking Absolutely awful food at what was even more concerning was the fact the waiters literally was putting the mains down and coming to pick up within 15 mins The lamb kofta tasted awful by far the worse I’ve tasted and the chicken for starters was dry and sweet . Hats off to the though place only went so hubby could get his vacs. so can only say about the decor of the place. It obviously does weddings for a start. If you like bling then this is the place for you, bling heaven, it will blind you its so sparkly!! are friendly and polite. Also have some funky decor in the entrance room, I liked it. Also spotlessly clean. So just on those points I would recommend. My neices was held here tonight and I have to say it was an excellent place to hold a reception , the place is a well decorated and very worthy for a special day. From the moment we entered to the time we left the and the host were exceptional Food was piping hot and was served by excellent who couldn't do enough for us Definitely recommend it Went to an amazing here a few days ago, everything was 10/10, food was piping hot, service was incredible and taz was the best host, made sure everything ran smooth. The ran over but he made sure to be there helping till the end, thanks for the J2O’s👌 The most rude ever. Event date 15 June We had the most incredible experience with our venue, and it’s all thanks to the amazing team who went above and beyond to make our special day truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, the level of care and attention to detail was unmatched. Thank you again for making our day so special. We couldn't have asked for a better team or venue! Top service ,, from start to finish,, food was and hot and the fish pakoras are next level, and fresh,, and the are great cheers This is a great place to keep any or event. We held a on the 29th of July in the evening, the service was incredible, the food was delicious and the caterers will suit your food needs. Also for an Asian it is the perfect size as it can hold many more people than the average small venue. The host Ali was very helpful and he helped out on all of the jobs on the day. He made our lives a lot easier and kept everything moving fast, ensuring no time lost. This saved us time to do extra activities at the end. Would highly recommend.
