Went to Oldham beer festival there yesterday and it was a good day and great for the beer festival Went to see a panto Aladdin here recently. was really easy and was free for a limited time NOTE (you still need to obtain a ticket from the machine though and display in windscreen). The pantomime was great, the layout in the hall was fabulous, viewing was great, stage layout/set up was fab. The staff in there were all so helpful too! Great for music, or in this case the Oldham beer festival. With over 60 beers, ciders and wine to sample. Plenty of seating. Could have done with some music playing. Best place to hold big events, staff are fantastic and very helpful Nice for performances, plenty of close by. You'll need to check the metres to check how much it will be, however for most performances that I've been too in the evening, the has been suspended. However I always check before leaving my car. Great for our daughters dance competition. My only gripe is limited parking. We've been here a few times for the same thing and it's thd same every time. There is overflow underneath as they opened this our first time but haven't since. Pain finding other if your there all day and it's busy. Went to see Katy Ellis the Taylor swift tribute act here and the was ok but the was kids stood up on chairs and we couldn’t see the stage and the security guard didn’t seem to bother to say anything till my friend complained about it surely shouldn’t of that been a health and safety issue also the didn’t seem to bother to check people’s bags properly anyone could of had anything of them.
