Wird geführt von einem älteren Ehepaar, sprechen leider kein englisch, sind aber freundlich und zuvorkommend. Plätze haben alle etwas Neigung und es stehen hier einige Dauercamper Jó hely.. The owner is the most unpleasant guy to run a campground I've ever met. While I obviously dared to disturb him on his after lunch break for Check-in, he hit his desk with his hands and shouting at me, because I was saying Budapest (the German way, as I was speaking German with him). If I hadn't set up our Caravan already with two tired children, I would have moved on without hesitation. The place itself has a nice settings but it has seen better days, not much effort is put in, to keep it nice. No toilet paper or soap in the bathroom. Some toilets clogged and not really clean. Very limited hot water in the showers. The Pool seemed to be nice, but I didn't check it out. Nice, clean and quiet family camping. The pool is not heated, but it did not stop the kids from spending 6h in it. Sheep's and a horse on the premise adds a flavor to it all, especially as the sheep's wander around as they like 😊 The only RV camping on the western border of Budapest near the M1, M7 motorway. It is in Törökbálint, which is a suburb of Budapest. Check-in is until 10 p.m. It was not built for campers as I am pretty sure there were almost no campers in Hungary in the 80's when it probably opened. It is not easy to find, there are no road signs. In the evening it is completely dark, there are no lights at the entrance. Use Google maps to get there. It is a good location for an overnight stay. We paid EUR 35 without electricity. The sanitary facility was old, no hot water. We took a shower in the camper. We stayed there one night. Good camping but old. Toilets are not so clean. For one night ok. Nice swimming pool for children. For a tent with two people and electricity and all the facilities we paid 15 eur (late September). We came there around 8 p.m. but without a problem we were greeted by the elder couple who apparently take care of the place. Although the owner didn't speak English perfectly, we communicated perfectly using a mix of languages. The place is quite nice, bathrooms ok and rather clean, although not the highest standard and a bit too dark. All in all, I would recommend this place, although it's not a perfectly quiet place, since even during the night you can hear from the distance the sounds of the nearby road. Very very rude and aggressive man on the reception. Dirty and old toilets. Was soll man sagen...ein toller Platz, der Pflege braucht, die er nicht bekommt. Der Inhaber (ű80) sagt selbst, dass er es nicht mehr schafft und er keine Nachfolger hat. Aber, es ist alles da, nur eben ungepflegt. Außer der Pool. Der ist top. Wir waren im August fast alleine auf dem Platz. Es waren noch vielleicht 3/4 andere da und einige Bewohner der Wohnbuden. Nachts wirkt der sehr dunkle Platz wie ausgestorben. Am Anfang ungewöhnlich, aber dann auch eigentlich nicht schlecht. Absolute Ruhe. Mit dem WoMo und Anhänger sollte man vorher zu Fuß erkunden. An sich wäre das Gelände wirklich schön. Schattige und zum teil terassierte Plätze. Aber der Rest ist, für den Preis einfach zu wenig. Wir haben im Wohnwagen zu zweit (und 2 kostenlose Kinder) 39 Euro bezahlt. Uralte, unsaubere und zu wenige Sanitäranlagen, kein Restaurant oder Supermarkt und ein alter kleiner Pool. Alles in allem lieblos. Wahrscheinlich rechtfertigt sich der Preis über die Nähe zu Budapest, welche uns jedoch nichts genutzt hat. Im Oktober 2024 haben wir für eine Nacht mit dem Wohnmobil 3 Erwachsene und 1 Hund plus Strom 60 € bezahlt. Das Pool war leer die Dusche und Toilette waren miserabel. Idealer camping Platz um Budapest und Umgebung zu erkunden. Auch die Bus Verbindung und Strasssen Bahn vom Campingplatz Fortuna nach Budapest sind hervorragend. Very rude grumpy man, clearly disliked the fact that we were English and started shouting at us for pronouncing things incorrectly. needless to say we promptly left.
