Beautiful place to walk, or just to hang out and chill in the beergarden. Beautiful place to visit and go for a walk. If you are looking for a nice evening, then please plan a visit here. Nice ambience. Free entrance. Also Car parking is free of cost. Toilet available (50 cent) . Kid stroller and wheelchair accessible everywhere (including toilet) Beautiful place for cycling. As someone who grew by the and made first steps on sandy beach, I simply had to visit Neckarstrand. To visit it, you don't need a car, just take U12 to Remseck, and cross two covered bridges (maybe not like ones in Madison county, but nice enough) to come to beach. Very popular way is by bicycle pathway from Stuttgart to Remseck, following Neckar (signs say it is some 15 km, so not far away). You would be surprised how many people do just that. You can also take a cruiser from Wilhelma, stop is some 500 m on a opposite side of the river. So plenty of interesting ways to get here. On estuary of small Rems is a restaurant with magnificent view of the and beach, and also ice cream stand if you are with a kids. You can reward them for pedaling their bikes to here. Beach is small, and I can only imagine how many people are here on a warm summer day. My only disappointment was that swimming is not allowed. Some say it is because is polluted, but I think this is due to heavy traffic (see my photos for an idea). As I am someone who likes to swim in rivers, this made me said. But you can bring your paddle boards or inflatable canoe and enjoy as many did when I was on the beach. Kids would enjoy playing on a sand or making castles out of sand. Or just walking ankle or knee deep on a shoal like I did. Due to the proximity of river, there is nice refreshing breaze so ideal for sunbathing (and reading a good book). Just don't forget some sun lotion or you risk getting nice red crispy skin. A along the Neckar, what else do you need?? No swimming though. Not really a beach, can’t swim here. More like a small park for toddlers to play in the sand. Has it’s charm. A nice place for a drink or a meal Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
