The toasted bread felt fresh and had a good taste including the shrimp. The lady at the cafe was polite. She was kind enough to go through the menu in English. Had a great time at this cafe on a sunny day. The food (shrimp sandwich) tasted good although one could maybe complain a bit that the toasted bread was a tad too hard. ca 300kr for two persons coffee+shrimp sandwich. Wij gingen hierheen o.b.v. de locatie. Ondanks dat er wel een serveerster is voor afruimen dient men wel zelf binnen te bestellen, waarna het eten wel uitgeserveerd wordt. Beperkte keuze op de menukaart en los wat frietjes bij bestellen was onmogelijk ivm dat ze precies genoeg porties hadden voor mosselen en friet... Dit midden op de dag rond 1230... Mijn vrouw en ik hebben een tosti besteld want dat was de enige optie waar wel vlees in zat, en wij geen zin hadden in vis. Ik kreeg een droog wit broodje met een matig stukje ham en een kleine hoeveelheid kaas op een bordje, tezamen met wat salade met een berg zout. Geen saus of iets anders erbij. Het was een hele simpele tosti voor meer dan 100 kronen... Ook qua drinken was de keuze vrij beperkt en qua sfeer zie je duidelijk dat het betere tijden heeft gezien. Al met al geen aanrader, geen hoogstaand lekker eten, wel een hoge prijs... Na ruim een maand in Zweden rond getrokken te hebben, kan ik zeker concluderen dat men elders in Zweden lekkerder kan eten voor minder geld. So its risky you meet some special sportsmen too. När maken och jag är ute på semester äter vi alltid räkmacka på nåt ställe och vi har haft en favorit i Karlsborg i säkert 10 år. Card playing was possible and they have a Toilette. We've visited at the beginning of our trip and at the end as well. Both times we've enjoyed the food a lot. The staff is very polite and helpful. If the weather is windy (as it's typical for the coast) one can stay cosy at the veranda. For sunny hours we've spent time outside. The harbour is beautiful to observe. the spot offered for us the perfect start and ending of our Sweden-stay. Lovely place and lovely people. There’s real depth to it—sweet, balanced, just damn good. Not overdone, just quality ingredients done properly. The location’s great too. Right on the coast, chill vibe, nice views.
