Ok “Something Different” This is a Catholic Monastery that I found it at the last minute on my cell phone while visiting my son in Hunfeld, Germany. The place was easy to find since it is a large Church / Monastery in the middle of the old part of the city. The price for the room was reasonable since it was just for my wife and I. I think I payed about 80.00 Euros but I don't really remember. The room was small with two single beds separated by a table and the bathroom as also small about the size of a big closet with a shower but it served it's purpose. The room numbers are all named after a Holy person and on the inside of the door is more information about that person. Down the hallway are reading rooms with a library of a few books (mostly in German) and a TV. In the morning we had a typical European Continental breakfast in the cafeteria and there was a large selection of different breads, cheese, meat, jelly, cereal and juices to choose from. Would we stay again, Yes. Great hostel with great price and service. Would definitely want to try this again. Friendly staff and a lovely garden for a morning stroll. Peaceful Experience Great view.
