One of my favourite spa hotels, Bomba isn't awfully big or made for big families but those are some of the reasons why I really like it. There's a big pool and a few smaller ones, ice cold one and two outdoor jacuzzi tubs. The hotel itself is also nice. It's a bit basic and worn out, but it works and it's clean. There are rooms in two sections - old side of hotel and the new side. I'd recommend the newer side but the renovations throughout the old side might change that. Staff is helpful and friendly! One of the best part of the staycation. Breakfast at the restaurant is great, surprisingly big selection of foods and ingredients. Great breakfast. Outdoors provide a lot of nature related activities, and I would recommend the place for having a quiet place to stay among the nature. Very nice spa to relax and chill out. You can use the spa the whole day for one price and there is all you need there. Only bring a towel and a swimsuit, that‘s all! Staff was very friendly, sauna was hot and relaxing, everything seems quite new and clean. I highly recommend it. It is not very crowded. Loistava paikka! Todella hyvä palvelu!! Buolu ravintolaa lukuunottamatta erinomainen kokonaisuus. Yövyimme kaksi yötä parvellisessa huoneessa, joka oli tietysti lapsen lemppari. Huoneesta näkyi suoraan kattoterassille ja siitä Pieliselle, eli maisemat olivat todella upeat. Kylpylä oli myös oikein hyvä. Kylpylässä oli kuuma-ja kylmäaltaita, sekä suora pääsy järveen. Kivannäköinen hiekkaranta aurinkotuoleineen. Aamupala oli erinomainen ja aamiaistila miellyttävä. Tämä hotelli kaipaa ja tarvitsee kunnon ravintolan, Buolu Cafe & Ristorante oli järkyttävä. Ensin asiakkaita ei huomioida lainkaan, vaan kävellään ohi. Ruoka ei ollut mainitsemisen arvoinen. Bomba ravintolassa emme ehtineet käydä, jospa joskus toiste. Visited in 2020 and 2021 and both times good experience. Location is beautiful. Restaurant is decent, but not fine dining. Good food selection even for multiple evenings. Breakfast also offers many choices. Rooms recently renovated with AC (balcony view from a room). The Lake (järvi) view from the hotel room is beyond amazing. Huone oli hyvä, henkilökunta ystävällistä ja aamupala mainio gluteenittomienkin tuotteiden osalta. Kylpyläosasto saunoineen ja ulkoaltaineen ihastuttava. Vahva suositus. Ihana miljöö ja ympäristö, hienosti yhdistetty perinteistä ja modernia ilmettä. Majoitus Karjalaiskylässä oli kiva vaihtoehto hotellille ja aamupala oli monipuolinen ja hyvä. Kylpylä viihtyisä ja siisti, vaikkakin pieni ja erityisesti saunat hienot ja tunnelmalliset. Buolu Cafe & Restaurantissa ruoka ok, mutta valikoima aika suppea ja palvelu vaihtelevaa. Uudessa Frans & Emma - ravintolassa ruoka hyvää, samoin palvelu, mutta erityisesti ilta-aikaan voi olla ruuhkaa. Karjalainen pitöpöytä ei ehkä vastannut ihan hinta-laatusuhteeltaan odotuksia, mutta Bomban talo muuten hieno.
