Nice area for a walk with some interesting mining history, easy access and well marked route from carpark, don't miss Tilas Troll by the lake and the walk through the mine shaft to the really nice cavern Tilas Stoll is amazing! It might give you a strange vibe and a rush of adrenaline when you first enter the mine. It looks completely different in winter compared to summer, so I recommend visiting in both seasons. You can drive further and park at Skavnäsets kapell, where you’ll find better toilets with warm running water. There is a beautiful lake in front of the Tilas Stoll mine. This is an amazing place with so much to see and to enjoy 😊 this is a must see place, the mines are incredible and at each and one of the gigantic holes you get drawn back with it's beauty. ❤️ Tilas troll was the main attraction. You get to enter in to a tunnel few meters in and see this beautiful Cavity. Have a chance to view some farm animals alongside lake. Follow the orange marking for the hiking trail. Well worth the stop. Get in early and can have the place to yourself. Was great spot and one of the highlights of my 4000km around Sweden As with many natural attractions in Sweden, not breathtaking but, harmonious and peaceful and easily accessible. The area nearby the lake, not far from the church, in my opinion is the most beautiful part! As we wandered in the tunnel, it felt eerie. A shudder ran through me but I could see a light ahead out of the mine. It was open and overgrown with vegetation! So beautiful! This area has abandoned mines and is next to lake Yngen.
