We had an amazing stay here in Septemer, one of only a few guests on site. The private is just a stones throw away downhill on a lovely little starecase (see photo). The facilities were charming, including an outdoor (cold) shower, sinks by the campsite, indoor (also cold and 0,50€) showers, toilets, washing machine (€3) and water and electricity available. The owner of the campsite was very friendly, offering is a cup of coffee, bottle of wine, fruit picked from the trees, and chats here and there. A local scuba fisherman offered us some of his morning catch on the one morning. We were pleasantly surprised to find several cats and kittens on site. Unpleasantly surprised by the amount of mosquitoes. The surrounding area was almost completely deserted during September so the closest restaurant we could find was in Manfredonia. Supermarkets also nowhere to be found nearby. The camp owner did offer us bread on the last morning which was a lovely surprise. Overall would highly recommend a stay here!! (I can’t stress this enough, I can only speak to our experience in September..have the idea the area may very different June-August.) One of the best camping experiences we have had in all of Europe! Extremely dog friendly. Stayed two nights. It was so hard to leave! Incredible private connected to the camping that they clean each night. We speak zero Italian and they speak little English, but together we both made an effort and it was perfect. Possibility to order fresh bread and pastries for the following day. Small local market on site with the possibility to purchase homemade olive oil. Clean with an incredibly staff that takes care of you. Michele and his kind team are constantly circulating on their bikes to make sure everything is OK. Thank you! We will be back. Very helpfull and staff. We bought Merlot and olive oil. What a fabulous sosta! A narrow road that leads to it - so take care but worth it. You’re parked in a lovely olive grove and there is access to a small, rocky beach. Its a fairly steep path to the which is not really suitable for children unless you watch them every minute! but we loved it. Theres a small gravel area the owners use to launch boats where its easier to get in the sea for a swim. In May 22 we paid €20. All services there including what looked like a new toilet and shower.
