We did the ancient baths for 90 minutes and the experience was great. There are different pools in a really nice romantic setting. The only lighting are many many candles and the lights of the pools. There are very cold and hot pools, very salty ones or with bubbles. We enjoyed it a lot and were really relaxed after this experience. Very special place to be and such a beautiful place, I want it to come for Barcelona branch but it was booked up so we came here Vallromanes, but this is amazing Great relaxing experience. There goes another true bad review for this “amazing special spa” Apparently we have booked the hotel with spa access for my birthday, and my wife was simply declined entry into the premises becouse she is pregnant. The reason was “she pay slip and fall and it’s bad” No one says at restaurant she can’t have double vodka, no one says she can’t go to swimming pool. But spa is probably some devils spot where all goes wrong? It’s obvious then pregnant woman don’t go into saunas or hamam, but what’s wrong with spa entry to relax? Is relaxation now being bad? We’ve been to over 5 other spas and hotel and non of them had issues. The management of spa declined to offer a disclaimer to be signed and simply denied entry based on “it our policy” In my opinion a racist policy it is, a manager of spa has no civil rights to decide what’s good or bad for me, my wife or any person. You’ve lost a potentially returning clients and a whole of my network will know not to visit you ever. Utterly delightful location. Great experience lovely location lovely staff. 1. We intended to visit Aire Barcelona, but accidentally booked Vallromanes (website was confusing). Vallromanes refused to cancel our reservation the day before, referencing a refund policy of ”48 hours prior”. I believe this is not very customer friendly and they should have made an exception. 2. Massage was mediocre at best. At no point during the hour did I manage to truly relax, nor did I feel a good connection with the masseuse. 3. They make you wear rubber anti slip shoes throughout the facility, which feel like socks, look weird, and bring dirt from the floor into the various pools you enter. They should use flip flops instead. 4. They assumed that my friend and I were a couple, did not verify with us, and placed us in the same room which was a little awkward. 5. The music during the massage was looping every 45-60 seconds, serving as an annoyance and making it harder to disconnect in the moment. (Name on the booking was Pavel Fage if that helps) A Nightmare Hidden Behind a Facade of Relaxation Our visit to Aire Ancient Baths started off as a pleasant escape into what initially seemed like a magical place, but it ended in absolute horror and disgust. After enjoying a very nice couples massage treatment and about an hour in various temperature baths and the sauna (all of which were quite enjoyable) - we then returned to our private locker only to discover that it had been tampered with. To our shock and dismay, there was another key inside our locker, meaning someone clearly had accessed our personal belongings (clothes, wallet, phone, money, keys) without our knowledge or consent. This is a blatant violation of privacy and a severe breach of trust. It’s hard to convey the horror of discovering our valuables had been tampered with, possibly stolen, and the fear that our phones, containing our private information, might have been accessed. We felt deeply violated and spent weeks anxiously pondering if our credit cards, driver's licenses, or banking details had been compromised. The only thing more shocking than the incident itself was the utterly appalling response from the management, or I suppose - the lack thereof. We reported the incident to the locker room employee and the front desk right away. They initially denied the possibility of another key, but the employee confirmed it. After 30 minutes, they said the manager was gone but would contact us the next day. That call never came." We made several follow-up calls, repeatedly recounting the situation and receiving empty promises of a response. Four weeks have passed since this shocking incident, and we have still not received any communication from the management, despite countless promises. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer security is unacceptable, especially for a place so highly rated and allegedly upscale. What could have been a beautifully relaxing experience turned into a distressing ordeal that we would not wish on anyone, leaving us feeling anything but relaxed. We strongly urge anyone considering Aire Ancient Baths to think twice about trusting them with your personal safety and belongings. This spa’s failure to address such a critical issue demonstrates a shocking level of negligence and disrespect towards its customers. We’d sincerely recommend avoiding this place and going almost anywhere else.
