The food is simply amazing, with traditional delicious Spanish cuisine and a lovely atmosphere. We visited the first time after visiting Aranjuez and other places surrounding Madrid and had a great time, we had the chance to meet the owner who told us the story about the caves presumably dug by the Knights Templar and invited us inside from an access at the restaurant. Legend says that you can make a wish in the cave and you have to go back and leave flowers inside if the wish came true. Our wish actually came true and we went back on our next visit to Madrid. Not like I regret eating there again! For veggie options you do have to ask, but for people who eat meat & fish the menu del dia is perfect. Also the dessert was yum! We visited the cueva after and it was really cool.
