Our bill was £34 for 2 mains and 4 pints Had the scampi and chips with extra scampi. Very nice. Efficient service. they said a 30min wait but I thought it came out quickly. Nice to be kept informed. Friendly staff. But it is in need of a face lift. Very tired and run down In places. Paint flaking of and exposed wood. Just needs alot of love. Beer was cheap. Discounted when Lotten play footbal. 4 tequilas for 7.50.. wow.. only had one round. We walked up from our accommodation so didneed parking. The place was really clean, well managed and the was fairly polite. I've ordered 4 dishes, the waiting time wasn't too long, the store was pretty, big, and was really well kept. The food was warm, and It was really tasty. I ordered vegetarian sausages with mash potatoes, while my other mates ordered fish and chips with peas, everything came out at the same time, and the food was lovely! They also had vegan and vegetarian choices! The prices were pretty low and therefore made it quite affordable to have a family dinner. I would highly recommend this place. Always tasting food. The changed in last 2-3 weeks from i last visited, unfortunately took off my favourite meal but new stuff was really and classics were still great. Definitely read the new in detail before ordering and should be trained up on the new as this delayed ordering and caused issue alongside the diety restrictions issue. Staff were extremely polite though as per usual and nice to chat with. Would definitely still go back again, tasting food and amazing cocktails, lovely and chilled environment. I’ve had fish and chips here countless times and I think it might be better than many fish and chips shop. Not once has the fish been oily. Perfectly deep fried and crispy on the outside and perfectly tender and moist on the inside. I’ve also had the Cluckin hot stack numerous times and it’s worth the money you pay for. Food was alright until I started eating my stake it tasted funny and smelt funny aswell so I left it. member ask if we finished yes thanks you and i explained to her about the stake she look at it and walk off with our plates. Chips seem over cook aswell. for drinks at the bar was slow. We were served by Ashleigh who was amazing! Polite, friendly and was very knowledgeable on what was on the menu. Food was delicious, was served hot and came out really quick! We will definitely be back, when we next pop to Luton. Waited for one and three quarters of an hour for our food. There were only 7 tables before us one 4 people one 1 person the rest 2 people . However the food and member were very good. The were friendly and polite. When we ordered food the asked about allergies and explained what was in the food ordered, they also informed us of what was not on the menu. Ashleigh was also smiling and polite when she delivered our food and when she was not not too busy she would come over and ask if everything was alright with the food. Leicester arms always has 10/10 food and vibes. are very welcoming but i have to say Ashleigh always makes me and my children feel comfortable and looks after us well. She does such an amazing job and is just the person for the job she does. Can’t thank her enough for what she does. She’s very friendly all the time, attentive to all needs and is lovely to my kids which makes me very happy as a customer. Highly highly recommend. And thanks for everything Ashleigh. wasnt goin to leave a review but then read someone elses.... ive had same complaint re parking and i now have £170 debt cause of it. i went into pub twice to explain and was reassured it would be sorted. and it wasnt hence a £170 fine now. there maybe signs in car park but its pitch black and you cant read them. when i went back in after getting the 1st fine i was told there is a sign on each table. i pointed to table we had sat at.. no sign. member said "ohh that ones been pinched" i have been in 3 times to try and sort it but to no joy.... so be warned....put your reg number in or you'll be £170 short. Went in Saturday afternoon for the first time, was very impressed, food came out quick hot fresh and cooked to perfection, I had surf and turf, hubby had burger. We traveled 2 hours for an appointment and popped in for lunch, reasonably priced if I lived closer I would definitely go back. The lady that served us was polite and helpful.
