Der Tierpark Traryds Skans ist ein kleines Ausflugsziel, das sich besonders für Familien mit kleinen Kindern eignet. Die Auswahl an Tieren ist überschaubar, aber vielfältig genug, um die Kleinen zu begeistern. Da sind u.a. Ponys, Ziegen, verschiedene Hühnerrassen, Kaninchen, Schafe, Schweine und sogar Pfauen. Die Tiere haben es hier sehr gut. Schön ist auch der gelegentliche Flohmarkt in einem der Gebäude – es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, mal hineinzuschauen! Am hinteren Ende des Parks gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz, der ein perfekter Abschluss für unsere Kinder war. Die Lage des Parks direkt am See ist traumhaft. Man kann von hier aus einen kleinen Spaziergang zum nahegelegenen Wasserkraftwerk machen oder die Ruhe bei einem gemütlichen Spaziergang entlang des Sees genießen.
