The has a lovely pool and restaurant and is mostly set up for log cabins. The new owners only took over the campsite two weeks ago and are working hard to get it functioning the way they like it. They are experienced owners having owned another and want this to attain the same high standards. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were spotless as were the toilets. So good so far. I wish Lucca his mum and dad and all the rest of the team all the best for the future. Arrived late afternoon to camp with a campervan. Lovely reception by the owners. Very helpful info, including detailed indications of the route to cycle into the city. Managed to see three of the four gorgeous “real owners” of the - a longhaired smokey tabby, a fluffy longhaired black cat and a regal black and white shorthair. Number 4 was AWOL on our arrival. Can’t comment on the accommodation as we had our own 😁. The cabins looked magnificent, though. Toilet block was clean, bright and complete with loo paper in the cubicle. Campsite-wide free wifi worked well and was very welcome after the lacklustre French mobile internet that’s reserved for foreigners. Stayed 2 nights with a motorhome. Facilities very clean and swimming pool, with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna providing icing on the cake. Staff always available, polite and keen to help. Surprised by late check-in time 4pm, but a 12:00 checkout gave plenty of time for swim etc. Cycled into town but walking and bus viable alternatives. Very quiet. Albi Cathedral is a must to visit. We have just spent 5 nights on in our motorhome. Our pitch was spacious, nicely shaded and fully survived. The family who run the are very friendly and helpful. The sanitation area was very clean and the shower cubicles were spacious also. We did not use the pool but saw plenty other guests doing so and the area looked well cared for. There is a 30 minute walk into town but also a bus route only 5 minutes from the which runs every 40 minutes or so Monday to Saturday. This is the perfect stop for visiting a beautiful city. We have a Campervan- therefore on a pitch.
