Great experience and super friendly staff. We did a brief in English with history of oil production on the island followed by incredible tasting of local and products. Cute cafe outside to rest and have some delicious Greek coffee. A must stop. What a fantastic place! We loved it so much that we went there twice. The women that run the store are amazing- super friendly and very inviting. They also offer tours of how oil was made back in the day as well as offer a variety of samples. I was really impressed that they did the tours in so many languages- other than English and Greek, I’m pretty sure I also heard them speak French and German. I’m not usually the biggest ice cream fan, but when my husband wanted to try the oil ice cream, I had to try a bite. And then another and another…. It was so good (not overly sweet, very well balanced) that when we were driving around the next day, I had to make another stop to get it. Well that and the delicious oil cake. We came across this while looking for something to do, and oh boy, it was amazing! Not only did we get to learn about t taste test some of the and oil they had in store. (The oil cakes are amazing!) Not to mention there is a adorable cat named "Oliver" and another cat that looks just like him. (I called him "Ollie" since he doesn't have a name yet.) They are so cute and will try to get cuddles and snuggles on every opportunity they have. They shouldn't be that hard to find, as they roam around the museum, and will probably run up to you when they see you first sight. This place is a 5-star for me, and is 100% worth a visit!
