Authentic is my highest praise. Remote tiny village in the hills. Locals joint. Brothers Angelos, the front of the house, and Vasilis, the grill master general, run a great place. Lots of local product. Extensive wine list. Generous portions. Delicious. Satisfying. It will not disappoint! Friendly service and delicious food. I highly recommend the dry aged sirloin, beef sausage and chicken. Although this is a meat the desserts were amazing. Make sure to leave room for the desserts. The banoffee and cheesecake were so good I'd come back just for those. Don't miss out on this if you're in Naxos. One of the best restaurants in Naxos is located at the charming village of Kinidaros. Here, you can enjoy delicious food made from local produced daily fresh ingredients. The service was excellent, and we had a nice time with our kids. A very cozy and warm tavern with a really nice atmosphere overall. The staff was kind and the service fast. The food was great 10/10 as far as the meat we tried, good quality and as you can see in the photos the steak doneness was excellent for a medium rare. The prices were fair for what you get. I strongly suggest to give it a try. It’s about 30 minutes from the center of the island but it’s worth the drive. You should make a reservation 1-2 days ahead because for us it was kinda difficult to get one. Exceptional meal! We had the Greek salad with Naxos cheese, olives, grilled peppers, lamb chops and the 30 day aged t bone steak. It was incredible! Just go. Food was under €60 for 2 ppl. A weekday early afternoon meal in a village Taverna, out of season can sometimes be a bit hit and miss. But not this place! The starters were yummy, the Saganaki was right up there with the best I have every had. ( and ive had a lot of Saganaki) I'm never keen on sharing plates but the Steak sharer was absolutely fantastic, juicy Steak cooked to perfection, devoured the lot!!
