A long time has passed and I hadn’t written my review, but now the time has come. We were two couples with two boys, and we stayed there in October. The place is truly one of a kind — a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Giuseppe and his are warm, welcoming, and full of smiles. You instantly feel at home. The food is fantastic — absolutely delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. The wine is exceptional, and produced by them. These people have what we in Greece call “meraki” — a deep passion and love for what they do, and it truly shows. We all had a wonderful time, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. We had a fantastic stay for 3 days here. The location in beautifull, the that welcomes you is super friendly and the food and breakfast is magnificent! Thank you so much for the great stay! We have enjoyed our stay at Casa di Bacco so much! The takes good care of the farm, rooms and all the animals wandering around the place. Most of all we enjoyed the food, the breakfast was great with a lot of choices and of course the homemade pies and cakes. The dinner is a 4-course menu and is just like the pies and cakes all homemade by the lovely mother Maria. The wine is also really good and is made of the grapes from the vineyards around La Casa di Bacco. And after visiting Agrigento and the Valley of Temples (approx 20 minutes drive) you can relax the remainder of the day at the pool that is really clean and refreshing. Warm and kind Italian as hosts. Beautiful wineyard scenery and best Syrah we had during our Sicily trip (made by the father of the family)! Great 4-course dinner cooked by the mother, cost only 35€ per person. Friendly donkeys and cats walking around, as well as an adorable big dog in his own caged area - we absolutely fell in love with them. Large and clean pool area. After visiting many agiturismo accommodations around Sicily, Agriturismo la Casa di Bacco is one of the best and most authentic agriturismo. The Martorana do more than just host you but make you feel welcome, as if you are at home. The service is top notch. Food is reasonably priced, well portioned, authentic and home-cooked by themselves. The quality of the cooking there, is the best you can get in Sicily for sure. Will be looking forward to return back to this agriturismo in the near future.
