Such a pretty little at the top of Naro. The entrance is free and I suggest climbing one of the towers to look at the incredible view. It's a bit of an uphill but I suggest walking because the old part of Naro Is very characteristic and has some pretty views. Closed on a Tuesday at 15.08, whilst according to Google it should be open. Waited till 15.35, still closed. Locals told us it should be open. Bummer! Especially given the amount of effort it took us to get up here 😠 Very cute castle. Guy who was working there was very nice and funny, he showed us all the an told us a lot of interesting things about it. There was no entrance fee for us. incredible, rich history in details told by a very attentive guide, clean place, free entrance, beautiful landscape for photographs, still can make the hiring of an internal chapel to hold weddings Honestly, I don't understand the 4 5 stars. We parked down and walked up through the town. Your can see some older buildings which could be charming if renovated with lot of buildings which are old but not in historic sense. So the town was a huge disappointment. The is renovated but really small and worth to go there only for the view, which is really good. Beautiful simple little castle. Free entrance. The torture room was grim, the view is fantastic. We were the only ones there but I do not know why. I loved walking around Naro, very rough around the edges. Authentic town. Small, but very nice castle. Great view from the top. And it's free of charge. Suggestivo il panorama dalla torre specialmente al tramonto ben curato, facile da raggiungere anche in macchina strada perfetta. Entrance is free the sight itself is well maintained but there isn't much to view. On the other hand the panorama from outside the is marvelous. Worth a visit if you're in the area. The itself would be impressive were it not by the state of complete disrepair of its surroundings. It was impossible to visit it in the inside, as there's not even a single sign with its opening hours. The same goes for the Sicilian tourism official website where it's advertised, no clues about it. I'd completely avoid wasting time coming to see it. A baroque in a lovely town called Naro. Young love ah. Thanks to the lovely photographers for capturing our spontaneous kiss. Great place to watch the sunset and a must visit if you don't mind tight windy roads. xoxo Lugar e história linda Pay attention to the small roads and steep hills Very narrow roads taking you up to the but worth the visit. Lovely views all round from the roof area.
