I did not realise this was actually on site at Warsteiner brewery park, next to the visitor centre. It is rural nice countryside around but the visitor centre opens only Wednesday to Saturday and I was staying Monday/Tuesday so missed to visit at the brewery! It also meant that the reception was not staffed except in morning for breakfast , so key and access at arrival was via secure key box ( instructions were emailed to me before I arrived ). Key retrieval was easy and the key opens outside door and door. The and key safe is entered via a side entrance that was not immediately obvious when we arrived (see photos) and is on the right side of main building. Inside is very nicely decorated and was big with sitting area as well as bedroom. Bottled water provided but no tea or coffee facilities. Also no air conditioning so was quite warm ad it was on the second floor in roof eaves. Aside from that it was a very good room, great shower, clean, and linen changed daily. Breakfast served was adequate with just small choice of hot items (bacon, egg). Good coffee with fresh pot (flask) on each table. The breakfast was very nicely decorated and main reception area also operates as a bar when they are otherwise open, in evenings etc. Big spacious outside area (beer garden) and also I noticed a camping area including for camper van/tents but no one was there, I assume visitors come for festival/event/or when brewery visitor centre is open! The tour would be good , you can Google search to find details of Warsteiner brewery and cost is €23 including 2 hours of tasting time (!) to try their beers afterwards. It’s a pity I can’t get to do this and would gladly come back to visit another time. Beautiful place for learning everything about Warsteiner. Lots of memorabilia to see. Great 360 cinema about the story of Warsteiner. Good place to drink anything of the big variety of Warsteiner drinks. Nice outdoor place. Perfect vacation (bussines or pleasure) but in the spring or summet time. Winter is not so bright for showing nature environment... No kitchen, closed evening.
