One of the Best Places To Visits in Όρμα Pozar Thermal Baths are worth a visit for their therapeutic waters and beautiful surroundings. Be prepared for potential crowds and facilities that need updating. Consider visiting on a weekday to avoid peak times. A good place for relaxation and experiencing nature. Entrance requires cash. Each ticket allows 30 minutes in a pool. Weekdays are less crowded. Bring a towel and flip-flops. Lockers fill up quickly, so keep belongings within sight. There is a large abandoned cave a 10-minute walk from the baths. A gem of natural beauty and relaxation! The natural water of this thermal bath is very beneficial for your body. It's a fun place but it was not very warm water. Beautiful place to visit, very good value for the buck, beautiful scenery and just rare... Try to come on weekday, too many people on weekend. Nice and modern (the large pool). Or very rustic (the small ones). But in both cases worth a visit. Absolutely stunning hiking right behind it up the gorge.. The was magnificent and the wonderful!!! The €3 entry fee allows you 30min in the pool, but nobody chases you out!! The entry fee includes a locker for your personal items. The only negative is that the big is currently closed for maintenance, as well as the dressing were dark and the doors couldn’t lock. There are also lots of run down buildings around. They are currently building a new entrance area, do hopefully all these issues will be addressed with time. 💧💧💧💧💧 Absolutely worth the visit! The setting is incredible—lush trees, running waterfalls, and soothing hot spring waters surrounded by nature. It’s peaceful and refreshing, perfect for a relaxing break. A few tips: Go early to avoid the crowds and get the best spots. Bring flip-flops or shoes—the rocky ground can be tough on your feet. A towel and change of clothes are a must. There are lots of older visitors, which adds a nice calm vibe overall... but some people really need to learn to keep their voices down! The baths are meant for relaxation, not loud chats. 😅 All in all, a beautiful experience in a magical location. Highly recommend taking a few hours to unwind here. Try to come on weekday, too many people on weekend. For entrance need to pay in cash only, but its just 3 euro. Also you can find huge abandoned cave in 10 min walk from thermal bathes. The best Loutra in Greece. I recommend to check the booking in advance if you want to go to the private spots, otherwise you will still enjoy the external ones but it gets to be crowded in the first 2 , whole the big piscina can take a lot of people and still feel ok. The is very warm, by the moment you enter you feel that relaxation, specially if you are going during winter time. Few tips to consider: 1- take with you a backpack to have a towel and flipflops. Or bournouzia can come handy as well. 2- try to keep your stuff located in a place you can see. Most lockers will be taken already 3- they say it's for 30 min, but you can stay longer, but I guess you will get all the benefits within 30 min. 4- there are lots of dressing room for changing 5- tickets were for 3 euros per person Enjoy!! Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by the serene whispers of nature, Pozar thermal baths hold the promise of an idyllic escape. Upon arrival, one cannot help but be charmed by the rustic beauty of the surroundings. However, it's evident that this haven possesses untapped potential waiting to be unleashed. Additionally, enhancing the landscaping all around the area could create a more inviting ambiance, encouraging guests to linger longer and fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the setting. Its potential to become a premier destination is palpable, and with a few strategic enhancements, it could easily rival even the most renowned retreats (e.g. a couple of cozy restaurants and cafes). Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a place to unwind with friends and family, Pozar offers a glimpse of paradise waiting to be realized. Hot springs next to a river with small and on the side. A great combination of heat and cold. Entrance to the is 3 euros (each separately), there are changing and toilets. You can also stay just in the river, free of charge. So if some want a hot spring and some don't - it's suitable for everyone. Great place to relax for a day. Unfortunately, the big was not open as was under renovation, and there was no place to grab something to eat or drink, maybe also because renovation. A great place to relax after a long journey. Well organized, there are changing and lockers, the is pleasant, the prices are more than reasonable. Count on 2 hours (3 for 30 minutes plus a walk around the territory) The of this thermal bath is very beneficial for your body. The facilities have plenty of options both inside and outside. There are big and smaller ones that you can rent for you and your partner for a more private experience. The only downside is although the facilities are kept clean, a lot of are worn out and in desperate need of renovation. Some repairs are being made bad looks really cheaply constructed and in any case not in a professional way. The place has real potential, but the current state of the facilities is rather disappointing. I love this place! If you ever get a chance to visit here, do it! Make sure to explore all the paths. There's plenty to see here and you won't regret it. is shallow, which was great for the kids. View of the waterfall is amazing. Change were available. 3 Euros to enter was a bargain This place is simply amazing. Set up in a wooded mountainside, Pozar Thermal Baths offers one of the most relaxing experiences I have had in many a year. Although we did not use the indoor facilities - that look fantastic btw - we did use the pools. There are 2 hot spring with and a large swimming pool. We bought a ticket to use all 3 - which cost €7pp for 30 mins in each - but ended up using all our “credit” in the hot … SO RELAXING! The in the are super strong and - when stood beneath them - give an excellent massage to those tight neck and back muscles. Other than the pools, there is of course the and shallow(ish), flowing rivers beneath, that are the clearest waters I have ever seen. Plus, because of the position of the sun, naturally rock form, which you can sit in, close your eyes and just let your cares ebb away. There is a small cafe on site that offers sandwiches, pastries and hot/cold drinks, all of which are reasonably priced. There is also a souvenir shop, an olive oil and wine seller and a restaurant by the lower car parking area. There is plenty of parking too. Of course, you are not restricted to just using the as there is some beautiful scenery to be explored with good pathways towards the top of the waterfalls. For those seeking to de-stress or just enjoy the power of nature, I would highly recommend visiting Pozar Thermal Baths. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a hotel in the area to stay longer than one day. Overall, an experience not to be missed. It's a fun place but it was not very water. You get 30 minutes in a per ticket, but in cooler weather it is not enough to keep you warm. Beautiful area and nice walk up the path. There are two small and one big (like a swimming pool) pools. You can enter one of them by one ticket. The recommended duration for is 30 minutes. The and outside of them are very peacful. The nature is wonderful in and around of baths. If you are looking for a menthal renovation, here is the one of the best place for it. It is allowed to bring some foods and drinks. However, there are some places to eat and drink. They are also low priced. Heaven on earth, beautiful and poools, can dip in the river to cool off. Free parking available, cost between 3-5 euro a person. Großartig für so einen kleinen Preis - nur 3 Euro Eintritt!! Kamen hierher im April bei 5 Grad Außentemperatur. Beautiful place to visit, very good value for the buck, beautiful scenery and just rare, that goes for any thermal bath, if you happen to get a chance to visit any, don't think twice. This particular one is just breathtaking and super relaxing to enjoy. While the Thermal baths are the star of the show, there is also a big for those that like to get their laps in, private rooms, and also amazing hiking trails. 10/10👌 Beautiful views, variety of areas to enjoy, including a standard swimming pool. The nature surrounding it was stunning as well. However, the bat caves I went there for were completely blocked off, so we couldn't even get close. People were smoking everywhere, and the 'restaurant' only stocks a few (very dry) snacks and coffees or fruit teas. Very affordable, refreshing and relaxing hot spring and cold bath, just right beside each other. The view and vibe was perfect in the morning. Very relaxing. Streams of flows from the river, and is clean and clear. We came early at 7am with no queue and buying the ticket (€3) was easy, it also comes with locker. Totally recommend! Υπέροχο μέρος.τελεια τα λουτρά αλλά και η φύση.εχω πάει 2 φορές και θα ξανά πάω A gem of beauty and relaxation! The thermal baths are extremely rejuvenating, surrounded by stunning mountain views that create a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The facilities are very clean and well maintained, with options for both indoor and pools. I will definitely return!! Went here as part of a group tour on a quiet weekday. Would have rated the place higher if not for the RUDE male attendant at the first waterfall (pictured). My boyfriend and I simply went up to the stall to ask him for keys for the locker and he seemed to be angry and rude at me for just standing there wanting his help. Apparently other people have experienced his rudeness as well so we weren’t alone. He clearly doesn’t like his job (or tourists). Be warned that there’s also no showers around and the changing leave a lot to be desired. It’s a shame because this place has a lot of potential!
