The agriturismo is in an old winery and has great ambiance. However, during our stay there we're 'party's' every night of locals celebrating birthdays or other events. They went on until well past midnight including children playing and knocking on our door as a game. We complaint several times to the staff but they did nothing and simply replied that 'this is normal' (end of conversation). Unacceptable in my opinion. The fascilities on the other hand are not bad, the pool is large and there is a small bar. Breakfast is ok and diner is a fixed menu that is mostly based on quantity and not quality though not bad overall. So, a resonable place to stay for one night though no more because you will likely not get much sleep. Very lovely stay and dinner. Lots of history here. Rooms are a little rough around the edges but have character and atmosphere. Better than the last 3 four star hotels we stayed in around Sicily. A quiet location. We loved staying here! The place is charming and the rooms are clean and unique. We used this as a base to explore Erice, Trapani, the Natural Reserve and the salt museum. The staff of this place is exceptional: the receptionist was very helpful and provided us with lots of tipps, his assistant was always there to help, the cook and her helper made sure we ate amazing local culinary specialties and always made fresh purees for our little baby and even the cleaning staff was wonderful. Everyone is very friendly. We will definitely be back! This is an absolute horror of a place. Advertised as a 4 star agriturismo which it is not. Rooms are completely overpriced. We slept in what was supposed to be one of the better rooms which was literally a barn smelling of mould and with furniture and bedding that seemed to be at least 20 years old. The food is totally overpriced as well and costs about 3 times as much as in any decent restaurant in Sicily. They cannot cater for vegetarians or other special diets and the manager when I asked if they had vegetarian options just laughed in my face and advised me to eat bacon (his English was absolutely fine so nothing was lost in translation). Absolutely not fitting with an agriturismo. We also asked him to advise us a wine and they charged us 40€!!! For it while it was just an average local wine. The warm water in the room wasn’t working. The manager who is the least service oriented person ever didn’t even give us a warning and just said well sorry we have a problem it will be fixed tomorrow which it wasn’t. Also he claimed on our second night that the chef wasn’t there so we should go elsewhere for food, again no warning whatsoever. And it turned out the chef was there they were just catering some party and couldn’t be bothered. The breakfast is also just cheap sugary stuff without any local products. However when we checked out early (0730) they couldn’t even provide us with a croissant because the manager said he only started work at 8. NEVER STAY HERE!! And of the owners read this fire the manager he is horrible STAY AWAY!!!! NOT A 4 STARS HOTEL. Honestly not even a 2 stars, we came for 3 nights, the pool was dirty so we couldn’t use it?m, the restaurant doesn’t exsist same as the spa, to charge this price for this awful experience is a 100% scam, do yourself a favor and don’t go. Genuin and beutifull hotell in the countryside. Wonderfull staff, beutifull surroundings, fantastic pool and great food. Cute cats and kittens strolling around. We visited Mustazza winyard, restaurants in the area and did daytrips to Trapani, Scopello and Zingaro. I’m so happy we stayed here! Hosts were friendly, very clean rooms and pleasant pool area. Breakfast was disappointing with no hot options present, not even toasted bread. But I believe this was due to the Covid-19 situation. Great stay overall! Perfect for a family holiday with children, there were 15 of us of all ages. Away from the impersonality of a hotel we were cared for as family. Excellent in house cuisine. Staff helpful and wanting us to have a good experience. Handy for beaches and sites. Local shops, although scattered, had essential services. Good local restaurant in walking distance. Car essential.
