There is a medium-sized oil production factory where they shared fascinating insights about oil production and hosted an amazing oil for us. The place is very authentic, featuring a small mill, a donkey, and a unique fur goat named Blanca. Surrounded by many trees, it also offers convenient parking and lovely paths for walking. We totally recommend visiting! We spent a morning at Oleastro and would highly recommend. We had a private tour of the gardens and the organic oil process by a very knowledgeable guide. The cost was €7 pp. This included of the most delicious oils and olives with oregano bread. There were also a family of adorable friendly cats. We had an amazing private tour at this beautiful organic farm. The owner took so much time to explain everything about the oil production process in great detail — you can really feel his passion for what he does. After the tour, we enjoyed a fantastic session with delicious olives and oils. The farm is easy to reach even with a regular rental car. I can highly recommend visiting — it’s absolutely worth it! Nice and small farm. Guy at place told us how the oil is produced. We had oil tasting. Not crowded at all - we were the only visitors on the Sunday afternoon. Very interesting to learn about the importance of oil, and how it was produced in past and present Cyprus. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable, as well as patient in answering all our questions. We saw a 600 year-old burned out tree that is still thriving and producing olives. Our boys loved the mechanical display and meeting the friendly resident donkey. The tour ended with a relaxing session of organic oil, olives and bread. Well worth the entry price. Was good. Some parts need upgrades and a little rusty but overall good.
