The Hufeland Therme is a kind of SPA (wellnessbad) with tradition in this Region (Weserbergland). In this bulding you can find also: saunas, Princebad, a various massages (classical massge, Hamam, an exotic Dampfbad), Water-shiatsu, saltgrotte, various therapies, fitness club. They also offer cosmetics services like depilation or manicure. Hufeland Therme is just behind a Park Hotel and old Jewish cementry. You go into a park keeping the way. Not just a public baths, it is also a fitness, centre, therapy center beauty and health, open air swimming in bath warm water and brilliant sauna facilities but beware if you are a bit shy because it is textile free ( but is separate from the bathing area). Upstairs you will find a massive relaxation area complete with hot stones, water beds, blankets, and comfortable loungers. You will also find a women only sauna that is well equipped and very comfortable. I have spent many a relaxing day here and would highly recommend it. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. Hufeland therme is as good as usual, but lately become often overcrowded, plus the prices went up again from Jan 1st, 2025. I have mixed feelings about this place. Positive first: It is in a nice location, clean and modern. Negative: the staff was unfriendly. Every thing is on different levels which can be annoying if if you need to go back to the locker for things. The shower was cold and had no power. Their isn't enough lounging chairs inside. Outside yes, but in the winter or during a rain storm it's not even an option. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant. The food quality and menu choices are very simple and low. In general I feel that this is a place for the older generation. They gave me no instructions other than "go down that way". I tried emailing many times weeks in advance to ask about the rules as I had never been there. They emailed back that they were busy. I didn't know where the sauna was so I asked the life guard who was very friendly and helpful. The hours for the woman only sauna are very limited and it was not open when I was there. When I tried to enter an outdoor sauna I was told I needed to be fully nude by a staff member. I have no problem with nudity but plenty of old men had their clothing on and towels on and I didn't see her hassling them to take their clothes off?! Also my shampoo was stolen and when I asked the front desk if maybe someone had brought it up there they said there is no lost and found and I can try calling tomorrow to see if it turned up. Wir waren an einem Freitag da. Die Therme ist wunderschön und modern gestaltet. Die Auswahl der Saunen ist groß. Das einzige Manko sind die Massagen, die man auf Wunsch extra buchen kann. Man merkt das die Mitarbeiter keine richtige Ausbildung haben. Ich habe bisher 2 Massagen mitgemacht. Aber alles andere an der Therme ist gut und man kann sich super entspannen.
