As I was exploring the towns in Cyprus, I came across this beautiful looking spot and I had to stop by! I enjoyed the wine, the vibes around the place, and the relaxing time. You enjoy an authentic and wonderful Comandaria, an unrivaled oenological curiosity - blue - made from a combination of white and black grapes, fruity white and rosé and red with sublime body and taste. Warm and welcoming people, beautiful place and great atmosphere. Don't miss it. Beautiful winery, friendly staff. We had a great tasting session. We wanted to join the tour, but unfortunately we arrived too late. We bought a few bottles of wine, and I think we’ll visit this again. This is definitely my favorite one on the island. The wine, the view, the atmosphere and most importantly Jenni are the reasons why i keep returning with my friends. The tasting experience is always really fun, we get to enjoy the unique flavors each has to offer and the story behind them. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the food they have to offer. We had such a wonderful experience at The Lion Spirit Winery! 🌿 Nestled in the mountains, the location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful – the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of wine. Their red Crimson Sky is truly amazing, rich in flavor and unforgettable. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We started with tortilla chips and a fresh, vibrant salad full of greens and perfectly fried mushrooms – such a delight! The burgers, though, completely stole the show – honestly some of the most wonderful burgers we’ve ever had. A huge thank you to Chef Panagioti for creating the most magical dishes. Every bite was a joy, and it’s clear he puts so much love and talent into his cooking. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, exceptional wine, and warm hospitality in a stunning mountain setting! 🍷✨ We had an amazing experience here. The team welcomed us warmly and made us feel really cosy from the start. We tried a series of (plus a surprise spirit at the end) along with a cheese platter, salad and fresh Cypriot fries – everything was delicious. Our host, a wonderful Romanian lady, explained the story behind each in detail, kept us engaged the whole time and made us laugh a lot. We spent several hours there and the time flew by. I definitely want to visit again – highly recommended. A Great Visit to LionSpirit Winery Our trip to LionSpirit today turned out to be a lovely surprise. The moment we arrived, the overall atmosphere felt pleasant, and the staff warmly greeted us, guiding us in and asking about our preferences. They brought clean glasses and various for us to taste, while sharing detailed introductions—their professionalism was impressive. We learned this is a local with a long history, previously well-known for producing Commandaria, Cyprus' national wine. One of their Commandaria is named "Amber," which happens to be our eldest daughter’s name. We mentioned this casually, and to our delight, the staff kept it in mind. When we decided to buy a bottle of Commandaria, they thoughtfully prepared a little surprise gift related to it for our daughter—such a heartfelt gesture that truly warmed our hearts. Later, we went upstairs to try their food. The menu is simple, focusing on burgers and fries, but their signature "Lion Heart Burger" (tied to the winery’s name) was outstanding. It had a high-quality beef patty plus tender, slow-cooked pork chunks—you could see the meat fibers, and every bite was delicious. When we ordered coffee, they also served two small cups of nut liqueur, suggesting we mix it into the coffee. It made the coffee even more rich and fragrant—definitely worth trying! From start to finish, the staff stayed friendly with smiles. LionSpirit offers great wine, tasty food, and sincere service. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!
