Wir hatten Glück und konnten die kleine alte Burg am Sonntag besichtigen. Der enthusiastische Senior (Besitzer) hat uns gerne empfangen. Leider gab es keinerlei Bewirtung. Das Ambiente war mehr als Feierlokation ausgerichtet. Der Besitzer übergibt bald in der Familie so dass sich dann vielleicht wieder etwas erneuert. Most of the area is not accessible as its either rented out. May be a good venue for events but as a tourist visit it's nothing great. Rather Enjoy the nature around :) In fact, you can get almost to the castle's gate by car. But from the 'Wanderparkplatz Rabeneck' climbing is not so hard and round way down is cool. Man fährt einen engen Waldweg hinunter und findet einen kleinen Schotterparkplatz vor. Dann geht es ca. 50 m zu Fuß auf dem Waldweg weiter und plötzlich, versteckt zwischen den Bäumen, kommt die Burg zum Vorschein. Eigentlich sehr idyllisch, leider war sie geschlossen, als wir dort waren, deshalb kann ich sie nicht von innen bewerten. Sehr interessant. Ein netter Herr hat uns alles super erklärt und dann eine Runde um die Burg gelaufen und danach in einen schönen Biergarten an der Burg. Dann konnten wir noch in den Bierkeller. Live it!!!
