Good breakfast with real coffee and juice. He even washes your clothes!!! The bar is great, but the room was dirty and the building clearly under construction. That was 2019, and from the 2024 images on Google Earth it doesn't look any further along. How can I communicate with Bar Mar (Manuel) to enquire about backpack transfers for the Camino Invierno, to book a bed for myself and the meal? He is not on Whatsapp or can I find an email? Anyway have a way to contact him apart from telephone (I am in Australia), Whatsapp is the best but his number is not on Whatsapp...email would be good... Comfortable rooms, good food, very welcoming host. If on the Camino I definitely recommend staying here Thank you (gracias) Manuel! 19€ for a single bed (multiple rooms of 4 beds, no bunks + with more under construction) with laundry and breakfast included (coffee and toast) - a option for pilgrims walking the camino de invierno who want to split up the stage between Las Médulas and O Barco. Manuel is a guy and ambassador for the camino. Highly recommend a stay here. Manuel can also arrange baggage transfer for you all the way through to Santiago. To the previous commenter - I’m not aware of Manuel being on WhatsApp or using email (he’s old school), if you can’t speak Spanish to arrange your stay/baggage transfer over the phone then I recommend you have faith and rock up. He’s the kind of guy who will take care of you…even if all beds are full im sure he would find a solution, he’s very accommodating.
