I came with my dog off leash by mistake and the woman in charge started to be aggressive with me.. there is no need for that.. all they need to do is say can you put your dog on the leash PLEASE ? No need to raise the tone.. bad customer service Very nice esplanada but you can only have fast food. It’s a dirty and messy bar and restaurant. It’s only nice and relaxing to have a coffee or a drink in front of the beach. That’s it! Here in August midday. Peaceful. Listening to the waves. Food ok. Service good. English speaking bar staff. Not too busy. Well priced. Could sit here all day and just zone out. Best tuna sandwich and great view. I’d say it’s the perfect beach bar and the owner + staff are super friendly! The reviewers who post negatively about this place clearly haven’t been to other praia bars. The bar is clean and nice, it has a wide array of snacks and drinks. The toilets are clean and neat, there is a shower which costs 0.5€. The owner is always friendly and smiling. I come here for burgers, a coffee and a pastel de nata, as I live nearby, so it’s a good enjoyable place with not many people and a waterfront terrace. What else can you ask for as little as ~3€? The best chill vibes you can imagine. Asked for 3 things on the menu, they had run out of everything and could only offer toast, cheese and ham (I'm veggie). It's understandable during covid so I asked for toast and butter. It came with hardly any butter on and no knife or butter came with it. When I asked for butter, the chef was extremely rude and the manager wasn't exactly nice. Great beach and handy to have a bar but some staff are really rude The owner is very rude, and unpolite, kills the vibe. Never go back again. The owner is rough and kill the local vibe!
