Attended an open air jazz concert which was great entertainment; most people took eats and drinks plus seating. Lovely walking around the and local woodland paths also has their own when grounds are open. The is absolutely stunning! The colors, the scents, and the tranquility it exudes are just wonderful.⭐💚⭐ It's a perfect haven."🌈 A small but nice peaceful place to visit. Lovely borders, three very nice and the is well worth a visit. The walled areas were great with the fruit trees growing against them and the old glass houses made it feel like stepping back in time. Compact within a solid wall with a couple of and benches scattered around. There's a separate kitchen type that includes a still within the walls. Separates from the walled is a wooded again fairly small in size. The whole has a series of paths some of which lead to the modern housing estate most similar in form but of generous proportions. The whole is pleasant to stroll round especially on a sunny day. There's a small play opposite gate one but you have to cross the road, which is relatively quiet but seemingly the only place for many vehicles to park. Maybe spend between one to three hours there. Lovely gardens with two large ponds. Dog friendly ( on leads ) Not a large but ideal for a stroll, watch the pond wildlife. There is an excellent cafe, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are woodland pathways adjacent to the gardens, we will revisit. Very relaxing and well maintained gardens. Not too large but with many interesting aspects: ponds, flowers, easy to walk around comfortably. Lovely restored walled kitchen and pleasure with ponds. Free entry, parking limited on the roadside but we found a space easily enough even though it was relatively busy. Lovely in the greenhouse, indoor/outside seating. Toilets only when the is open so check times. Dogs allowed in the on a lead but not in the cafe. is lovely , moderately priced e.g. £2 for a mug of tea. You can really see the hard work that has gone into the testoration. Well worth a visit to this pretty garden. Nice little place, two with carp and ducks to feed, and some lovely grounds to walk around. When your finished walking around there is a small woodland and nice field round the back to walk around. Only downside was the amount of duck poo around the ponds, make sure to take spare footwear to change into when getting back into your car. Lovely little walled and cafe. Pretty pond with ducks and fish. You can extend the day out by walking down the hill to the pub too. A very well maintained and beautiful park, I love to walk there any time of the year Wonderful beautiful Peaceful place.Visited on Easter Sunday. How apt A little gem. Would definitely recommend a visit. Only small but plenty of wooded walks nearby. Shame the isn't open more. Will be going back. Had a visit to the gardens today Saturday 26/4/25 took my 93 years old mum in along with my wife. I ordered three drinks , two coffees and a pot of tea, also added two tea cakes and one scone with just butter , the tea cakes arrived on the table , one for mum the other for my wife , then waited for my scone , and waited and waited , till my wife and mum had almost finished there tea cakes, it was then I asked the man if they had forgotten something, he looked at a bit of paper and said its coming, a few minutes later a grumpy girl just come and almost just dropped it on the table right in front of me then turned away without saying a single word. Very unprofessional and very unfriendly, she had bad attitude just because I pointed out I was waiting. And when the scone arrived it was nothing to write home about , under cooked sticky and very bland no wonder the scone box was still full at 2:30pm others must know the scones are not the cafes strong point so they don't buy them !! We won't be returning to the there are much better in the local village. Sorry guys you need to keep your eye on one or two of your staff. Gardens excellent and drinks excellent, food poor and bland not the best by any means. My friend and I have tea with scones. Scones was amazing and good size too. Dining was clean and staff friendly and attentive.
