Ordered a coffee and a crepe. 30 minutes later, it hadn't arrived, so I asked the waiter and he said "oh sorry, I forgot". It is cash payment only. Annoyingly, they did not store any €1, 50 cent, 20 cent, 10 cent or 5 cent coins in the till, so he couldn't even give correct/enough change for my notes payment (unless you're happy to accept 40 two cent coins). Nice view. You're better off buying a takeaway coffee elsewhere and sitting on the public benches just in front of this cafe :) For a cafe with a great view of the beach, you can't beat this place. The fish was fresh and very tasty. A bit crispy on the outside, and soft and flaky on the inside. The was amazing, very and accommodating. It started to rain and they quickly moved us to a covered spot. The view is unbelievable! You need to park up the road, but it's a short walk. The was great from Chac, a Nepalese gentleman. Great energy about him, very friendly, fast and attentive. The view is beautiful. The food is quite good and not crazy expensive despite the location. I stayed here the whole afternoon and they had a DJ playing excellent music after lunch, a lovely vibe to watch the sun go down. The wine on tap is my favourite. I wasn't sure whether they serve the tables or I have to order at the counter, I asked the guests, they directed me to the counter. I went at the time when most portugease kitchens are closed, whereas this place was serving food. I ordered their special, which is 3 types of small burgers with beef, chicken and salmon, and I asked to add more salad instead of French fries. They did an amazing job, I paid 21 euro with tips, for a big bottle of water, freshly squeezed orange juice and this plate you see in the picture. Plus the view and live music. I'd say they saved me because I was very very hungry. 5 stars from me :) The food was very tasty and fresh. The staff was very and kind to us and our kids. The prices were fine. Other reviews say it’s expensive, but I think the other options on this location are at least as expensive. Compared to the other kiosk, I think they deserve a better rating (especially because the staff is so rude in the other one). Wir haben hier zu Viert etwas kleines gegessen und getrunken. Man kann hier sehr gut sitzen, die Toasts sind erstaunlich gut und wurden mit sehr guten Pommes serviert. Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Die schlechten Bewertungen sind für uns unverständlich. Definitiv ein Besuch wert, wir haben es nicht bereut. Food, drinks and were all excellent ! We were lucky enough to chat with both the chef and the owner, Fernando, after our meal. Fernando went out of his way to make the night unforgettable . On top of that, sunset on the roof deck is incredible, you can’t beat it. We’ll never forget our dinner at Ponta Branca. Very friendly, kind and accommodating employees. Chaotic but service. We had to remind them about our drinks but otherwise a good experience. The young man cooking was also having to take orders and wait on tables, he was very but a little overworked. An older gentleman turned up but he wasn't as to my companion when he paid the bill, but I have no direct experience (could be a language barrier). I was impressed with the food quality given how busy the chef was and considering he was doing three or four jobs! Price is consistent with a beachside location and not too bad. Pedimos tostas de atum, todas com alface em péssimo estado e o atum vinha acabado de escorrer (e mal escorrido), as batatas fritas vieram frias e em pouca quantidade. Aconselho a quem queira beber apenas um café / imperial, uma vez que a atmosfera é boa e até tinham um DJ a fazer sunset. Péssimo atendimento por parte do funcionário. Estava a falar com ele, quando o mesmo virou costas e foi embora. Não deu o talão no ato do pagamento. Foi necessário voltar a pedi-lo (1 café 1,40€). Casa de banho super suja. Servicio excelente!
