Really like this camping and would recommend! Just one concern- some in a van named Coral pulled up to the barrier and didn't get a ticket so he literally dismantled the barrier to gain access!!!! I mentioned he should try phoning the number and he said ' no, move' I can't stand arrogance- especially when compromising other people's security! Not the sites fault at all, hopefully they have CCTV on the barrier. TERRIBLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We arrived at 4.30pm to find that it said “full” but there was loads of space. Apparently the people running it go home at 2pm so people have to outside until the next morning. We only planned to spend the night so had to drive another 30 minutes on. Great place to near a wonderful white sandy beach, motorhome service area in a poor state, could do with another one near entrance to site, wfi has not worked both times that we have been This autocaravana looked nice online and since we were visiting the area we decided we wanted to stay. We arrived at 5 pm, and all the automated ticket machines were broken, so we couldn't enter with the van - there was a hand written sign saying go to "reception" which was a wooden shack - which was closed!! Apparently they close at 2:30, so anyone arriving in the afternoon is screwed. In addition to that, it is really crowded and run down, we walked around to check it out and it was dirty and littered, and the electric outlets are very sparse so you would need really long extensions. It's a real shame because the location on the is nice, but I would not recommend it. A Camperstop right on Manta Rota beach. Places are a good size, but at 10€ per night plus 5€ extra if you want Electric ( 8.15am to 8.15am whenever you arrive)is expensive as there are no facilities other than water and waste . It was quite busy in April and impossible to get on in the winter months with long termers Basically an overnight up. 10 euro a night plus 50 cents each for tourist tax. Close to and bars etc. Great place to stop right on the beach, well a boardwalk over the dunes ! Bread van every morning g. Local laundry service collected and returned following day. Full wash, dresses ironed and on hangers €7.20 ! What's not to like ?! Only downside check-in could be better and hook up only available at 0815 every morning( pay for as many days you need then they unplug the last morning) total for us 4 nights=€40+€15ehu+€4visitor tax. Smashing ! Gate is closed 5 hours afternoon. Waters for caravan is ok. No toilet, no dusch Current situation – August 2025 This is a regular parking lot during summer — no RVs or similar vehicles allowed. There’s no signage explaining that the area functions as a normal parking lot in summer and turns into an RV the rest of the year. You’re left to figure that out on your own. So, if you’re in an RV and thinking about parking here during the summer: don’t. Right now, both automatic payment machines are out of service 😒 Most drivers try to as close as possible to the road near the wooden cabana, thinking it’ll be quicker to pay and exit — but it just causes congestion and turns the 15-minute grace period after paying into a stressful scramble. If you're planning to leave the around lunchtime, parking somewhere on the street might be a much calmer option. Great RV right next to a wonderful beach. Water, toilet empty and waste empty facilities with the option of electric hook up. The location is fabulous. Wry quiet site with shade. Liked it so much we came back again.
