Great, clean, fun, and friendly staff. 0 stars if I could due maiy to the and its staff. THE ARE RUDE AND THE HYGIENE IS AWFUL. Took my family for breakfast only to sit down and half way through my bacon sandwich that was literally floating on the plate with grease to discover a large amount of dead bugs in the vinager bottle. We spent a good amount of money here and when I asked about sauce I was rudely told I'd have to pay extra. There was one other family there who had also spent a lot of money in the and the mum tried to charge her phone in the empty plug by her chair to be again rudly told she was not allowed to use any of their electric. The attitude of the was shocking. Very disappointed will never go to this again. Kids & grown-ups loved it. Good family arcade with the usual range of slots, 2p machines and prize games. There's some newer, more unusual machines, though the Zingy could do with replacing as it's the original model and a bit worse for wear. Not as good as playland but very fun and entertaining Great place to stop for something to eat never a disappointment good traditional fayre. The ladies always look after us . Thanks Great arcade with a multitude of games, coin pushers and for the adults, slots. I personally spent a lot of tine on the 20p Pearl machine. Though I did not play the slots I could see that there was a fair selection of old school and more modern digital slots to pick between. My only gripe with this arcade is that the ticket value felt very low compared other establishments but other than that it was a great place to spend the day and I will definitely go again if I am in the area. Went with the grandchildren, we call thier every time they come across from Lancashire, they love it. We talked with a lovely lady called Lisa very sociable and pleasant. Day to the seaside spoilt by rude arrogant staff. Spent decent money in on morning of arrival on breakfasts and drinks for 5 people. Later returned for teatime for some cake and hot drinks for 5 again, we also had brought our own fish n chips to eat before the cake. Little ones (2 babies under 2yrs old) were cold and wanted to eat indoors out of the chilly wind. Was rudely shouted at and refused service because we had some of our own food. Even though we said we wanted to buy a round of cakes and hot drinks we were rudely ushered out with unbelievable attitude from staff. was empty! Not like they were busy. Absolutely disgusting attitude and lack of compassion .Completely unnecessary way to treat paying customers!!! If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. The main problem is the and the that operate it. Firstly we are still in the middle of a pandemic. You wouldn't think so in the cafe. Absolutely no social distancing with and poor hegine. Tables not cleaned after use from one person to another and if you need a toilet I wouldn't bother as they keep them constantly locked and when asked to use them get the look of disgust. (Even though they serve food) I think the feral just cant be bothered to clean it. Catching one picking her nose while behind the counter and wiping it down her front was a absolute bonus. As a business owner that owns similar establishments (not locally) I would be ashamed to operate this type of business. Re training of hygiene and covid rules are a matter of urgency I have visited this establishment on multiple occasions over the last 10 years. Often spending large amount of money in the process. Never again. On a positive note; found a wonderful little round on the main street now. My rating is only for the section. Were to start the rude lady who took our order was very abrupt with us from start to finish getting our order wrong and serving us cups of tea’s in cups where you can feel the grit around it as you holding the cups. Honestly the attitude from the lady in there is appalling how she has a job is beyond me I seriously think she needs training ASAP. No balls came out of the bowling machine. The did not want to help, just wanted to fob me off. I waited next to the booth and muliple came over. When i asked again the were aggressive. Therefore i made the decision to leave as was by myself with two kids. Do not go here as you wont feel safe ! I go for a coffee 2 or 3 times a Week sometimes a breakfast All lovely, have a bit of crack with the very friendly 🙂 Visited afternoon of 2/9/24 and we loved it! Made such a difference that all of the were friendly and helpful. Lisa was particularly patient and kind with my children when they were swapping tickets for toys. My boyfriend and I often visit here on date nights, tonight we visited again and had a brilliant time mainly thanks to Sarah! So so lovely and helpful, we very much appreciate what she did for us! The prize booth were amazing to me and my daughter they were super helpful. Always had a smile on their face and couldn't have been more polite. Awful experience – would never return! We had a really disappointing and frustrating visit to Tyne Tees Entertainment. We spent £32 on games and rides for just one toddler (2 years old), and despite that, the treated us very poorly. My child had played on many age-appropriate games, and when he got tired, I let him sit in one of the older kids’ ride-on games just to relax and be entertained while I took a short break. The place was nearly empty, and there was an identical machine right next to us that wasn’t being used. Still, the came over, watching us the whole time, and told us he couldn’t sit there unless we paid again, even though he wasn’t playing – just sitting! It was ridiculous. Later, when we went to the toddler section, we felt constantly watched and judged. The were whispering and staring as if we were doing something wrong just by being there. It made the whole experience very uncomfortable. To top it all off, we were waiting just 10 minutes for my husband to bring the car, and instead of letting us wait peacefully – after we had already spent a good amount of money – they kicked us out of the venue in a very rude and unfriendly way. Terrible customer service, zero kindness, and not family-friendly at all. We will definitely never come back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
