The service at the club was excellent with a large room being used for various functions. The lounge itself has it's own bar with some views over the course and the north sea. The course was in excellent condition for March, looking forward to playing it in the summer , hopefully with no rain and less windy ⛳👍 A very nice course on the edge of Redcar. The club house is well appointed and has all the amenities you could ask for. Everyone at the club was warm and welcoming and the food was great. What a gem of a course. Greens superb, rough testing, fairways sculpted and clubhouse friendly. I got a very welcoming reception from the team in the pro shop team too. A solid course which is well maintained and cared for. If you keep it straight and know how to get out the sand you could be having a good round. Sadly you can’t the sea from any holes but highlights are a the views of the Teeswork industrial site and the sea view from the clubhouse bar. Greens are very true. Nice course greens and bunkers are very good It's a course, well worth a round of golf. But wrap up. It's cold when the wind blows All I can say is awesome. If, like me, you love true type golf, you really have to play here. The 18th reminded me of my old course, St. George's! The new clubhouse is equally impressive & the service is great. Green fees are more than reasonable too. I recommend you visit very soon. Good place Wow what a course, test of with some holes that wouldn't be out of place at any of the link's in the North West. value for money we will definitely be back 👍 Visited during Tees valley week. Very nice condition, with not fast but still tricky greens. Food in bar good and very reasonable prices. Bar attentive. Lots of parking on site with local car park (£4) if needed. One of my favourite places to play golf. Good atmosphere in the clubhouse and a cracking course. Food here is outstanding and I've never had a bad meal. Drinks reasonably priced too. All are polite and nothing is ever too much trouble. Husband golfs here and loves it. I just eat! Ample parking and beautiful views across the coast. Highly recommend for any day of the week. really friendly. But, a course with no sea views and just decaying manufacturing infrastructure as the vista just set the tone. Whilst greens were just OK the rest of the course including tee boxes had a missing ingredient. Grass. Bunkers fine. Clubhouse actually had a view of the sea. But no alcohol free beer on tap is a huge minus these days. Seating reminded me of a grotty seaside cafe in a depressed area. Which of course it is. Sorry to be so negative since staff/members were lovely people. Played yesterday and thought this course was a gem. A strong but fair test as any course should be. We had weather and even in late April we were getting plenty of run (when finding the fairways!) Greens were in shape for the time of year and were fast and true. Highly recommended. One other thing don't think I have been to a course where everyone was so friendly and welcoming. From the minute we walked in the door people were chatting to us and welcoming us to the course. The bar afterward had a crowd in for a Tuesday afternoon and again people were chatting away to us, it made a round of even more memorable. We had a beautiful Sunday lunch followed by apple pie and cream. We celebrated our Dads 99th birthday & the couldn't do enough for us. Thank you. Course in condition as usual. Thoroughly enjoyed the day even though we had fog on arrival and showers through the round. Also had an extremely tasty bacon sandwich prior to play and a couple off good beers after. Thanks to Peter the Secretary, the kitchen and bar staff. Played the course yesterday and it was in fantastic condition and the greens were rolling out really well. A number of the bunkers have been re-done to make them the classic bunkers and it looks like these have been done really well too! A classic course that requires plenty of imagination!
