My lack of experience with Romanian vendors got me here, which is partly my fault. We booked our wedding for June 15, 2024, but had to change the location due to its remote setting. Initially, when I spoke with Florin Stefan, he said that if I informed him in time, he could reimburse the deposit since he could rebook that day. I notified him 8 months before the event, but he said it was too late and denied ever making that promise. I understand that the contract states otherwise, and his verbal assurance was not binding. I should have added an addendum to the contract to make it official when we first spoke. He tried to make it right by suggesting I find someone else to book that date, and he might then refund the deposit. I posted in Facebook groups to find someone, but a lady commented, saying she had her wedding there recently, and none of the staff even knew about it. How am I supposed to find someone else when the feedback about the management is so bad? To add to the frustration, I checked their social media and it looked like they had an event on June 15th anyway. The location is beautiful, but the people there are not ready to run a business with such poor customer service. I also paid for a wedding organizer, Stefan’s wife, but even before I announced the change of location, she hadn't responded to my messages. She was supposed to book accommodations for me but never did. Overall, while the venue itself is stunning, the management's lack of communication and professionalism overshadowed what should have been a smooth planning process.
