Super Haben letzte Woche eine Führung durch die Brauerei gemacht, die wurde von Stefanie geleitet.Es gab viele interessante Informationen zur Brauerei und Einblicke in der Produktion.Am Ende der Führung bekommt man 2 Kostproben und ein kleines Geschenk.Insgesamt war es eine schöne Zeit und ich würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen. So, I don't speak German but I throughly enjoyed this brewery tour. Thankfully my husband is German so I got a translated highlight here and there from him but seeing things was cool enough. The beer, bread, and coasters at the end of the tour was a fabulous touch and rounded out the length of the tour to 2 hours. Our guide, Kerstin, was knowledgeable, funny, and really knew how to engage the crowd (20 of us). She had no idea I didn't understand any of it (Sorry Kerstin!!) but chatted with my husband and complimented on how well behaved our 9 month old was. Our kiddo was in a carrier as the tour is not stroller friendly. The meeting point was a bit tricky to find but asking the Jever Shop employee took us in the right direction a few meters down the road. I highly recommend the tour and my husband recommends it especially if you understand German. Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Führung mit Frauke. Hat echt Spaß gemacht, war sehr informativ. Hinterher gab es noch 2 Freigetränke und einen kleinen leckeren Snack. Auch ein tolles Geschenk haben wir bekomnen. Wir kommen noch mal wieder mit unseren Bekannten und empfehlen eine solche Besichtigung. Die Führung von Frauke war wirklich super spannend und informativ. Man bekommt einen guten Einblick ins Bierbrauen früher und heute sowie einiges drumherum. Frühzeitig Buchen lohnt sich, da viele Termine in der aktuellen Woche oft schon ausgebucht sind. Außerdem möglichst an einem Wochentag, wenn die Produktion läuft. Als Besonderheit vermittelt Frauke auch noch, wie man es vermeidet, sich sofort als Touri zu outen. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Its is quite shocking that Jever refuses to promote its excellent beer outside of Germany. Espescially in Northern Holland ( West-Friesland and Friesland in particular) it will be a great success if they focus on the Frysian honor and tradition. What is also annoying is that you cant order anything from the webshop outside Germany and when I was in the shop in the town of jever you could only pay cash !!. Come on Friesen, be proud ! Wir haben unsere Zeit kurzweilig in ausgesprochen schönem Ambiente verbracht und wurden von einem aufmerksamen Team zuvorkommend und freundlich bedient.
