Despite several days if continuous rain the course was in great condition. Club house quiet but welcoming and can't say anything about the food. Always worth a visit. Played Elsham on Monday the 27th May, what a belter! David in the pros shop was outstanding, very friendly making us feel welcome and setting the tone for a great vsit. Food before we played was fantastic and everybody we came in contact with was very friendly and chatty. What a golf course, outstanding condition, greens like glass, fairways like carpets, each hole made you think about position off the tee and with the tree lined fairways it was a delight for the eyes and a challenge for the golf swing. There is such a good mix of holes that it is hard to say which one I enjoyed the most, but I did like the par 3s and their back drops but after saying that I liked the flow of the course, the bunkering, the challenge of the longer holes and the sneaky water hazards just to make you think that bit more, what a golf course! Thank you to everybody at Elsham for making our visit such an enjoyable experiance I hope that we get the chance to visit in the future. Michael Williams P.G.A. Professional. Excellent Club with interesting twists. Few straight holes with mostly dog leg holes Greens and fairways good Clubhouse staff were very friendly and the internal decor good. Food somewhat normal. Nice course, even though today was very wet greens were wonderful. The whole course is set up well, fairways are smartly cut so you have definition between rough and fairway. Greens are fast and true . Cannot comment on catering as I didn't eat in the club house. Great course well maintained. Beautiful well maintained golf course . Very friendly welcome from all.
