I loved this we were looked after really well by Howard out tour manager ... Buxton and Ashbourne were and my favorite was Matlock Bath..... the food at the Palace was for me ... and I actually liked the fact that they only cleaned your room by request ..we had plenty of breaks on the way there and back ... Meadowhall was fun on the way home .. Graham Just returned from a fantastic to the Isle of Man. service from the I was picked up from my front door. This is the first I have been on a coach holiday. We went Mon-Fri to Llandudno. We had a time, the excursions were lovely, and Ashley (our driver) really took care of everyone. From start to finish, Acklams were well organised and made sure everyone had a experience. I will definately consider another in the future 😊👌 Show, and were only down side was the coach. The seating was so tight I had a hard job getting in. People 6ins shorter than me asked how I managed as they struggled. Think the company should adopt a height limit like fair ground rides, if you are taller than 5ft 8 don't book. I'm going to cancel my next as I don't want to be so uncomfortable on a again. Got picked up by feeder coach and joined main coach at motorway services. Made and arrived at in and enjoyed nice buffet tea before heading to abba arena. Coach very informative and friendly. ABBA voyage excellent, straight back on coach after the show and back to hotel. very basic but adequate for 1 night. Next day had plenty of leisure at Camden market.thoroughly enjoyable weekend Cannot sing Acklams praises enough for a fabulous ABBA VOYAGE weekend...coaches were immaculate and on time...the they used was spot on ..clean, and evening meal and breakfast...time spent I'm Camden on the Sunday was too. Excellent value for money...thank you Acklams ...100% will use your services again ..5* service Had 4 wonderful days in London - went to the tower of London, Hampton court palace and Buckingham palace. Fully escorted, Charlotte and David was brilliant. Had an amazing so much so that if this break appears again I want to go a second time. Hotel, room and food very good. Highly recommend 👍🏼 Very pick from home. Transfer from Drax was well organised. Hotel and trips very except for Salford Quays. More information about the distance to the walking at the light show at Dunham Massey would have been helpful or the fact we could have had a mobility scooter to get round. We had a in Donegal. Visited some places. The was very good, food, comfortable room and friendly staff, location. The coach was comfortable and I would like to mention our Max who was great, pleasant and helpful at all times. From start to finish my flight to GUERNSEY BY AIR was first-class. The was with very helpful staff, the food was superb with a lot of home produce. Our tour guide who accompanied us was also first rate and made sure we knew all the information for each day and was always on hand to help with any queries. The history of the islands was fascinating to learn so I would recommend a visit. I generally recommend friends to go on an Acklams door to door service and generally come back from trips feeling part of a family of like minded holidaymakers Just returned from a week in north Wales Excellent and Julie our was exceptional Went on many trains and saw outstanding scenery Going up snowdonia was the highlight of the holiday Just returned from a long weekend at shrigley Hall Had a went to the light show at dunham massey fantastic Our Simon was brilliant Lovely long weekend and food was to Paris on the Seine Fabulous trip, ferry has facilities, food drink, entertainment, cabin a bit basic but has everything you need Paris was beautiful, as you’d expect, we stayed on SS Renoir, very comfortable stunning bedroom, clean and comfortable. The food was wonderful Cannot fault this trip, our Julie was and looked after us marvellously, how she got through the Paris mad traffic I shall never know. I loved Montmartre, we were close to the Eiffel Tower, cruise up the Seine was stunning giving us spectacular views of Paris by night. The guided sightseeing was excellent I would definitely recommend this 5***** A triumph from Acklams Really very to Cardigan bay, Cliff Hotel. 3rd with Acklams. Love the door to door pick up, hotels have been everytime. Went to see Wicked in London pick ups and drop offs very easy all drivers were brilliant would recommend Acklams every looking for our next I enjoyed my stay in Marina di Massa, the was good, meals were varied and the bedroom clean. We had weather which made our excursions to Florence, Pisa and Lucca more enjoyable, although, apart from the guide in Florence, it would have been helpful to have had more information on the history of each town. The drivers, Simon and Tyler were efficient but could have given more detail on each country we passed through as it was the first some passengers had made the to Italy. After booking the steam/cruise only a couple of weeks ago it was unknown but picked up at goole onto knaresborough/Harrogate then onto St Pierre staff food rooms basic but clean bar prices very reasonable. Day 2 early start opened breakfast early for us full English,cereal pastries couldn't ask for more it was lovely.then onto steam train ride and free in Skipton before a canal to.finish off then dropped back off no.issues at all a fantastic weekend will definitely be looking at booking another Thank you We chose this form of as it provided all our needs under one package which was the travel accommodation and excursions to the areas at the destination. However we feel that the initial journey was too long especially Gary who had not undertaken a substantial coach before. We think we should’ve gone on a shorter initially. We cannot fault the drivers, Simon and Tyler they were absolutely amazing. They knew exactly what to do when to do it and told us what was happening every bit of the way. Also felt very safe with them as they were drivers. The best Western for our overnight stay in France was however the in Italy was okay and the food wasn’t excellent. Think this was to be expected, though considering the price. We asked for a view from the bedroom we didn’t get this. We were looking into someone’s garden but other members of the apparently had balconies we didn’t. We were given a small bedroom with a very small bathroom and an extremely small shower which badly needed updating. On the whole we enjoyed our holiday. Italy is a fantastic place but could do with more looking in Florence. We won’t be going on a coach that far again we will definitely be flying only because of the distance. Fabulous to Italy, via France and stunning Switzerland. Thank you Simon and Tyler our careful, friendly helpful Acklams drivers. Cannot recommend this too highly- loved every minute! We have just had a fabulous 5 days in the highlands and islands of Scotland. Mike was a tour guide with a vast knowledge of the area. Glencoe is amazing with views to die for. We now need to go further north. We met a crowd of fellow travellers and though it was our first with Acklams we will certainly go away with them again. Many thanks to Mike and the team for a brilliant experience Travelled with Acklams for the first to see ABBA Voyage and the whole experience was fantastic. Tyler was professional but very friendly and helpful. He was spot on with his timings and where he dropped us off was superb. I would definitely use Acklams again and have already recommended them to friends . Everything was first class from the to the hotel. Only comments are the should advertise acts in the bar. We were informed there was no entertainment when two nights running there was. The coastal route was not driven and l have to ask why? As the title Atlantic Way Places we visited were of interest to us but would have liked a bit more st The Causeway as 2 hours was very tight. The ferry crossing definitely needs to be the 12.30 as we didn’t get home until just before 1am.
