Went to an afternoon matinee here today. Shout! A very talented young lady singing mostly 60s songs! A great show and a very nice venue. We even had free tea or coffee in the interval. Lovely venue. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Bar well stocked and staffed for shows. Parking available. Short walk far from local eateries for pre-theatre drink/food. Our lovely, intimate local theatre. Puts on all sorts of shows from plays to music tribute acts to children's shows. Welcoming, knowledgeable always on hand. Not over priced. Stunning little theatre, clearly run with passion by its small team of and volunteers. As an incoming show (Watch That Scene- the ABBA tribute), we were treated fantastically, and the audience were superb. Can't wait to be back in December! Saw Celine Dion tribute act. Gotta say she was excellent it's feels really cosy very close to the stage. The are all very friendly. There's a bar not over priced small snack bar as well overall can't fault we going back to see the Carpenters very soon Went to see a great band called Soul Solution, loads of songs including Soul Man, Proud Mary and The Midnight Hour to name just a few, brilliant evening. very helpful as first time at this venue, thank you everyone. Had a really nice evening As a regular volunteer and performer at the theatre I am very used to the venue, however I do regularly go to watch shows there. Recently I went to see The Wild Murphys, the greatest Irish band to come out of Darlington (as they put it…). The show was great, the lighting and sound was top notch, the band were amazing and got the audience singing along. Downloaded my tickets to my apple wallet so getting in was simple and easy, front of house were polite and helpful. Couldn’t fault the evening at all!
